Thanks guys - is that even if they have recorded my time in and out of the carpark and it has exceeded the parking time limit that is given in the car park display?
Thanks for your help.
Even if your name is Peter it's a scam. You know that by now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We cannot say it is a scam, since it does not breach any criminal law. It is simply an attempt to obtain money, for which no grounds exist legally. As this company was told in no uncertain terms when it made the mistake of trying to enforce its claim in front of a judge, who duly dismissed it.
So I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, wolf.0 -
This Company has no more legal right to fine or charge you a £60 penalty than the Local Yoga club does for putting their flyer in the bin.
This is a borderline legal scam that is based upon the impersonation of authority.
Ignore them and get ready for lots of very silly letters impersonating more authority such as fake debt collectors and solicitors, fake court papers, the tale goes on.All they want is the money you worked for because they can not be bothered to work, they know every driver has heard of council parking tickets and have decided to cash in by impersonating them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Thanks for all your help guys. I almost sent the cheque off but thought I would do a bit of last minute due diligence which led me here.
Thank god it did. I went back to the carpark today and there are multiple signs up about time limit on parking etc and there are also cameras.
How can these companies get away with doing this if it is not enforceable? I even spoke to customer services in one of the retail shops there and they said that UKCPS are a legitimate company and now do daily patrols of the carpark.0 -
They can get away with it because it is legal to invoice anyone for anything and demand payment, you can even sue them if they dont pay, the trouble starts when you try it.
What they sent was an invitation to pay a private invoice, if someone is daft enough to pay it, more fool them.
Get ready for the next boat load of scary letters with bold writing.
DVLA are responsible for this by been greedy !!!!! !!!!!s and selling our data to criminals and crooksHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

That person in customer services must have believed the crap which came out of Hasbeen's mouth when the landowner signed up to the contract as I bet you most customer service people hate the likes of UKCPS for driving away the browsers whom might spent an hour or 2 just looking in the shops before buying something.0
