Gaaaa lost a big whopping post :(

Thanks for the congrats! As if that weren't enough excitment, Amazon Credit Card paid me £10 voucher overnight so just waiting on one £10 voucher now from other Credit Card. If that turns up in the post today (along with the cheque I'm waiting for), I just don't know how I'll cope :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Irritatingly though the only thing you can't buy on Amazon with Amazon vouchers is.....you guessed it...an Amazon voucher. I have £30 worth of codes, I put them in my account and wanted to buy a gift card for someone with that £30 of vouchers...its literally the only thing you can't do on Amazon which is frustrating. Still, I'm sure I'll spend them on myself :D

Thanks for the tip about Gumtree - I haven't looked into it but I've also just remembered I might do better on the Facebook selling pages local to me than eBay for the bedding and curtains.

As for Onepoll, it took so long because I lost interest sooooo many times! I definitely won't be going for another £40 payout!

If anyone is struggling for Christmas presents, Boots have a good offer on today, Lady Million is £31 for 50ml and One Million is £35 for 100ml (both Paco Rabanne) and both are delicious in my opinion! Don't forget Quidco plus there is a £5 off £40 spend on Fragrance code on HUKD plus Triple points when you spend £60 or more. I got both for £61 (should be just over £100) plus £2.31 cashback, free delivery and £7.38 back in points.:money:

After all the recent excitement, today is relatively uneventful in terms of money!

Think we will make it to payday without filling up the cars with petrol which is excellent, both have over half a tank left in them and we haven't got any epic journeys planned. Unfortunately we have just had to pay out for the dentist which wasn't budgeted for so that spare petrol cash will go to pay for the dentist bill.

    Things to do this weekend:

[STRIKE]- money shuffle/credit card shuffle/check refunds have been processed[/STRIKE]
    - get the last few bits listed on eBay

[STRIKE]- put photographs onto a CD[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE] back up my computer onto a hard drive[/STRIKE]

Congrats on getting so much done from your list Ammonite - you managed a good few of the ones that we all tend to procrastinate over (computer backups etc.) :)

Need to finish the last few things off this week on Monday/Tuesday - especially the few eBay bits.

Current eBay: 16 items will sell, lots of watchers, not that happy with the prices for some of them so hoping for a flurry of activity before Tuesday night.

Keep playing with hypothetical scenarios in the mortgage calculator. I'm absolutely desperate to get out of this 5 year fixed deal but got another year on it yet :( I spotted a 5 year fixed rate at 2.47% which if we went on after the current 5 year fix and overpaid a very realistic and doable amount during the next 5 year period with the very low rate we would be well on our way to being MF in the timeframe we aspire to. Terrible that I am wishing the next year away just to get on a better mortgage deal and it'll be sods law that the interest rates go up before this mortgage ends! Must step away from the spreadsheet :D

A very late bedtime for me, not sure why I'm awake and chirpy so late on but I'm sure I'll regret it tomorrow!

Hi ammonite, 2.47% for 5 years is a fantastic rate, lets hope the good deals stick around for a while longer yet :D

Thank you so much for this ammonite:T My daughter had mentioned this perfume a wee while ago and I thought I would buy it as a stocking surprise, however couldn't remember the name of it.....

That sounds very tempting - who is it with? Am I right in thinking it's for relatively low LTV customers at that rate?
  • Thats a fantastic rate, when do all yours rates up.... sad as it sounds i am hunting for mine and i have 12 months to go - fingers xed that we will all benifit!! xx
