I'm not expecting massive profits but its good to get rid of the stuff and make some extra cash money for Christmas
£1.50 away from a payout on Onepoll - whats the betting the surveys start to dry up?!
£16 on DY - want to get to £20 by the end of the week so I can cash out.
Just done a house insurance comparison and I'll have to check I've got all the right figures but the cheapest quote seems to be coming out at up to £100 cheaper than what we've saved up for which I'll be really pleased about if that is indeed the case. I'm still too early to do a proper renewal (needs doing by mid-December) but nearly all of the quotes were at least £50 cheaper so hopefully that stays the same
Now have 9.703% of the mortgage saved up in our savings. Not a huge amount of progress due to the work on the house but getting there. Aiming for 10% by the end of the year come hell or high water
Must say the cookies I linked the recipe too are so delicious they all seem to have vanished from my kitchen - how did that happen?! Who took them!?0 -
Mmm, I might have a go at those too!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Oh do try them newgirly - I bet they don't last long though
Just been doing a money shuffle - my interest for this month has been added....drum roll (please do not fall off your seats)....£6.47 interest this month! What a hugely generous bank I have! I rounded it up to £10 and put it in the actual mortgage overpay - probably about all I have to add this month!
Almost at £19 on DY so think I'll make my £20 target by tomorrow.
O2 revised their offer on my perfect condition phone saying it had visible wear and tear. I specifically took a photograph of the phone before I sent it off as I knew they'd say that to reduce their offer. I checked the photo again and there is not a mark on it - the back of the phone is actually brand new as well as I lost it and had to replace it before I got rid of my old one. Its only about £1.30 less than they originally offered me but its annoyed me as I know the phone was perfect. I can't be bothered arguing though for such a small amount

Off Christmas shopping today for a couple of hours - who knows I might even see something I would like!!0 -
hello stranger
well done on your ebay
I would email o2 back, just think how much that £1.30 could save in mortgage interest in the long run (ok not that much tbh but every little counts)DEC GC £463.67/£450
EF- £110/COLOR]/£10000 -
Quintwins - I usually would but I fear it will delay payment and I'd rather just get my ££ from them asap. I didn't let the Amazon mess-up (not documented here) go and fought for my £10 voucher back from them and got it
Managed to treat myself to a cardigan and hat/scarf/gloves set which I'll give OH to give to me for Christmas. Its a miracle I found anything I liked.
Apart from that I didn't buy anything very exciting just another couple of gifts for Christmas. It was nice to look around the shops whilst they were quiet but I was starting to feel quite festive too. We had a good spray of the perfume department before I decided I probably didn't need a perfume for Christmas but just generally perusing all the Christmas stuff made me feel all in the spirit of it.
Also treated myself to some crafty items with my £10 voucher so that was a nice pre-Christmas treat to myself :T
Absolutely nothing MFW to report, I just wanted to report how Christmassy I felt:xmastree::xmassign::rudolf:

Eek who brought Scrooge to the thread?!:eek::eek::D
Still feeling festive today as I'm wrapping the remainder of the presents
I have hit my £20 target on DY today tooMight have to have a break from it then as it is making me slightly demented! That will go towards a Christmas present. I think we might be OK for Christmas money and not need any more than we've already saved which will be great! That means any Quidco/DY profits (the £75 I'm waiting on) can be used for the work on the house :j and therefore doesn't need to come from our savings :j
14 items will sell on eBay so far out of the 45 and watchers on majority of the items :T I still have more stuff to list so will continue doing that this weekend.
No food shopping for me until next week to make sure I stick to the budget. No petrol needed - we might not have to spend any money on petrol this month :j:j:j won't speak too soon but that would be amazing if that were the case. Need to check if we need an electricity top-up though.0 -

I bought my Dad one of those 'Bah Humbug' hats last year for a joke - not absolutely sure he saw the funny side...
Can't believe you are wrapping presents already...i've got so many birthdays in November I'm struggling with buying, let alone wrapping!
Well done on ebay! That's my task for the new year.
