I tried that - total is not moving!0 -
Natty - I did manage to go back to sleep luckily! Still feel tired though *yawn*
BookWorm - I found logging out and coming back a couple of hours later weirdly worked sometimes. It's definitely a bit buggy on the site still!
HDK - I can cope with the weird sleep now that I've finished work. Remember waking up in the night once and not going back to sleep and feeling like crying when I had to get up and go to work all day. I was shattered.
OK DRUMROLL PLEASE! Need GallyGirl with her emoticons!

29 left to go
Having a break for a bit - I'm all eBayed out at the moment!
Desk progress: nil0 -
Update:
- Still got about 20 items to list for eBay which I'll do over the course of tomorrow.
- Desk tidied enough so I could wrap Christmas presents
- One box of presents wrappedVery strange wrapping this early! I liked to do it with Christmas tunes on or a Christmas film - too early for both, maybe once we hit November I'll get a semi-Christmas film on like Love Actually.
- £10 Amazon redeemed from credit card #2 - this will cover another Christmas present which is £9.99- annoyingly I've just realised they only add points up every month which means I can't redeem the next voucher until at least end of November so no more help from that card for Christmas but may be useful for the sales (just found out I can also redeem Next and Boots vouchers
).
- Food shopping tomorrow - hoping to stick to my budget which is £25/week. Just realised that our pay calendars are five weeks long this month. Last week I spent £20 on food shopping so that's not bad...I might have to try and spend less than £20 this week too so the £100 this month stretches the five weeks. Think it should be do-able.
- Still no petrol spendalthough electricity spend has definitely gone up to £15 per week rather than the previous £10.
Nothing going into the MF pot but it's all for the greater good0 -

I'm with you on this. I don't wrap till the tree is up, apart from a few I have to post. Doesn't seem right somehow :xmastree:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Well now Gally has put the festive tree up in my diary, I can officially wrap presents
I have done the money shuffle for the month and we are suspiciously better off that I though  can't figure out why although the lack of petrol expenditure has made a massive difference already! Can't help but thinking I'm missing something. The only thing I can think of is that we haven't put our usual OPs away this month as we are using the money for the work we are having done on the house (so technically not well off as it is already technically spent). However, this means that we still probably won't have to take money out of our savings again this month which I'm really pleased about.
Need a very frugal month though so must stick to food and social budgets.
This is the first month I've set up other random expenditure savings too such as hairdresser (about 4 times a year so about £7 per month), Costco (as this never seems to be budgeted for yet we buy all our meat there) and a holiday (well...we can dream) etc. It seems to work well for other things so I'm giving it a try.
Oh and of course - it's a new adpoints week people!0 -
I messed up the amount of calendar weeks in this month - there are only four. Don't ask, think I'm losing the plot:o:D
This week's shop...£24.63 so just under budget and I bought a few wee extra bits for the cupboards to keep our supplies high.
Managed to put some of the costs for work on the house on the 0% credit card so won't need to take that out of the savings - will just pay it off a little bit each month in the New Year to preserve my precious ISA- rest are cash payments so that will be Oct/Nov/Dec wages. If we can manage all this without dipping into the savings I'll be really pleased :T

Hi Bookworm thanks for popping in
I have managed to wrap more presents and put a few more things on eBay. 39 items listed about another 20 to go still! Watchers on a few and bidders on 1
Had some more house quotes and they vary in price so much it is just mad - so glad I'm the type to ring around for a quote instead of going with the first one.
Got two free toothbrushes in the post this morning from Aquafresha massive saving of £2 which I guess I should really OP!
Done about 150pts on adpoints today and a few more pennies on Onepoll. On about £16 for DY now
Also got a loyalty card gift voucher from a craft shop so will be able to treat myself for free
P.S - I made these Millie's cookies last night and OMG they are awesome! I gave the vanilla extract a swerve as I don't like it but they were really delicious!
