I don't have any problems and I'm bored

I'm bored!
I'm not trying to sound like I'm gloating or anything but I am literally bored.
I have my own place which I can afford comfortably, I'm paying off my mortgage quickly, finished in 7 years time all things being well, I love my home, it's just perfect, I have a good job that pays well without much stress, I pretty much manage myself, my daughter is happy, an ex wife who I get on well with, good friends at work and at home, good social life, close family who all live near. I can afford stuff without borrowing but don't really want anything. I have no debt, my finances are spreadsheeted to death up to August 2013. Even the bloody car won't go wrong...
I'm 5 months out of a long term relationship which to be honest was an unhealthy distraction for years but that is done with. So here I am with no issues, at all.
I joined a gym, the dragon fella's, but even though the facilities are top notch I'm just not interested and lost motivation after a week. I joined Match, went on a date, she was lovely but I had to say straight away it wasn't for me. I have lost nearly 4 stone over the last year and am almost at my ideal weight.
My kitchen lino has a mouldy bit from when the dishwasher broke and leaked. I just wash up now. The shower could do with replacing I suppose. I save my ironing up so I can think oh no look at all that ironing and then I start and enjoy doing it. Pah!
I'm not sure what I'm asking here, maybe it's a just a rut. Feel free to comment, abuse or ignore. Thank you...

Boredom... First World problems are great, ain't they :rotfl:0 -
How about a nice exotic holiday?0

I'd look at the list;
I have never seen badgers in the wild.
I'd like to do a weeks yoga holiday (I think I'd be useless, but I've always fancied it).
I would like to learn to play the cello I bought about 15 years ago.
In fact, given a sheet of paper and a week I could probably make a list of 100 things.
Alternatively why not donate some of your time - a Sunday spent weekly at a homeless shelter, or working for a local animal rescue, or fundraising for kids from chernobyl........
Or you could try and visit every monument in the UK (I have met two men at a Youth Hostel once doing that - they had a book with about 3,000 places they were working through).
Or you could set a target to walk every long distance footpath, in stages.
Or you could find someone who lived nearby who needed their dog walking.
Set up a company in your part time with the aim of offering emplyment to four individuals by the end of the year.
There are lots of things to do. You just have to fire up your ambition again.
The problem with reaching goals is that you have to find new ones0 -
Depends on what rocks your boat. Most people of reasonable intelligence need to be needed, to be stretched, rather than just being consumers of resources.
Is there anything of the world, of academia, the esoteric, that you would like to explore?
How about community based activities, like mentoring, teaching, helping the elderly, etc?0
