Exotic holiday? Done that. It's just hotter and they have strange insects. My passport expired and I have no desire to renew. Sorry
Community things. Just googled my area, a bowling club and a spring clean the town group.
I do like the idea of helping the elderly or mentoring though0 -

My borough has an organisation that matches up volunteers and skillsets with voluntary positions. Maybe your borough has something similar? The council switchboard or website might be able to direct you to it.
I joined a local environment group, and through it have joined a social/performance group and also with some of the other people in it, am clearing a loft for an elderly lady tomorrow, so that she can get it insulated.
If you call Help the Aged (I think they have a newfangled name these days), they could possibly put you in touch with some elderly people who might need help with paperwork/around the house or simply some decent human company.
I'm not so sure about what organisations do mentoring, although I'm sure the web will be pretty good for it.0 -

i think you just need to work out things that you enjoy doing. Then do more of them.0

renew your passport, there's quite a good clinic in Switzerland that would solve your problem.
Alternatively, get a grip and get out there doing stuff!

I get bored sometimes.
I have a life that I love. I have stacks of books to read. Stacks of craft stuff. Stacks of housework, or trying to clear stuff. Etc, etc, etc.
But sometimes, you just need *more*.
And the thing is, trying to work out what *more* is.
OP, I hope you find it.0
