NATWEST PPI Can anyone advise please.

Thanks Amersall, for everything, you sure help a lot of people.
I cant keep myself off googling "Self Employed PPI reclaims" some suprisingly have been rejected by Natwest although I cannot understand why as the cover never would do what its there for, maybe theres more than meets the eye with each individual case but its certainly knocked my confidence on getting money reclaimed, Im awaiting my financial records back from RBS Data Protection but suspect this may take a few weeks before I can truly see what, where and how my finances altered over the years.
The Recorded Delivery notification on Royal Mail says they have received my letter now so now the wait begins.....
Fingers, Toes, Eyes n Ears crossed, Ill post any response up for you to see and hopefully have an opinon/advice on and take it from there, Im determined to fight it because for 4 loans over the best part id say of about 6 years Ive paid PPI and want to see if any of my current loan is a large portion of refinanced PPI that im paying off from the prev loans.

Just a quick update,
RBS deducted the £10 cheque I sent for the request of my Data Records they hold for all the financial agreements I asked for with the template letter to get my details from Natwest at the RBS Data Protection Manager over a week ago but as yet nothing through the post.
My 1st claim went into Natwest 10days ago and yet to receive acknowledgement that they have it, the recorded mail shows its been received so likely ill get some feedback from them this week all being well, MBNA responded to my internet request and are looking into the matter on a credit card I have.
Without this site Id likely have not gone through with this or had a CMC take a large chunk out of any refunds and still waited as long.

I have made 4 applications for refunds of PPI and Natwest/RBS were the most helpful of all the companies I wrote to! Without asking they refunded not only 'simple interest', but also 'compound interest' which made a huge difference and made a huge offer, then recalled it as they had not calculated it correctly and upped the offer! Might be worth mentioning compound interest when submitting your application I reckon!!!!!!!0

"Thankyou for letting us know about your concerns regarding the mis selling of PPI. The policy you have complained about has already been logged under the PPI reference PP/*******
If you have any queries regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact us"
Thats it ??
Now ive only sent this 1 claim in so far out of 4 to them and find it puzzling as to why they say its already been logged, nobody has or been instructed to act on my behalf, or am I misunderstanding what they have sent to me and really they are acknowledging receipt of my claim, they have sent the claim form questionairre back to me with it stamped.
Any clues guys, thanks.0 -

Hi,
I sent a request for an SAR from Natwest using the template letter and submitted the letter and £10 cheque to Natwest and they have now written back to me saying..
"Despite our efforts, we have been unable to trace a credit card account in your name. To assist us in tracing your account please provide us with the credit card number if possible, or advise us of an approximate date/year when the account was opened/closed. It will also assist us if you can provide us with any previous addresses and postcodes and confirm exactly how your name would have appeared on your credit card statements.
We cannot guarantee that upon receipt of the additional information we will be able to trace your account as if it has been closed for more than six years we would no longer hold the information on our systems. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 it states that information need only be held for as long as necessary to carry out the purpose for which it was collected".
They have deducted the £10 yet looked for a Credit Card account when the template states any Loan Accounts ??
The 4 loans I had with Natwest I still have documents for albeit a couple are without actual numbers but all the details are there of what I borrowed, PPI i paid etc..
How can they not find loans I had with themselves ?
The loans were paid, then consolidated and restarted and I do have paperwork for these yet to fill the PPI questionairre in I need an Account Number which is what I was asking them.
I think I am going to resend as requested this template letter back to them with details of each loan I took with them, It does not sound correct that theyhave searched properly,.
Any advice would be great. thanks0 -
Get back in touch with them and tell them they have not complied with the request for Loan information they hold on you and could they please look for the Loans, give them the Loan numbers you have to help them find you.They have deducted the £10 yet looked for a Credit Card account when the template states any Loan Accounts ??0
