Hi all, just come across this post today. I'm a newbie to MSE but have a lot of experience in finance so I'm great for advice with things like this. Feel free to PM me if anybody wants to know situations around PPI, I worked for a couple of retail banks in my time (I may get boo's for it, however my morals made me leave!). Good to see some positive stories about PPI claimbacks!

hi, my loans with natwest are all paid and were some time ago (certainly 10 years plus), I filled in the claim form and they have replied saying they cannot continue my claim without loan numbers and dates (even though I have provided the current account they all related to) and have advised me to send £10 but they cannot guarantee they will hold the details, will this just be a waste of time/money?? any help appreciated.........

I had a loan with Natwest some years ago and I am certain I had ppi Not with them anymore how do I find out about this loan and if I am due any ppi rebate. I could involve one of these ppi lot who keep ringing but rather do it myself. Are they easy to deal with ?
