    Good Luck!!!!:j Well done mashauk!

(That was the reason that made me go vegan as well, I thought I couldn't contribute to the cruelty of dairy industry anymore.)

Hi all, I'm not vegan, not even veggie to be honest :o

Just wanted to ask all you knowledgable people a question if that's ok?

Where do you get your calcium intake from? - other than soya?

I can't have dairy but soya doesn't agree with me either. I'm a bit concerned that I'm not getting enough calcium but other than buying tablets which I'd prefer not to do, can't seem to find a huge amount of information as to how much of what else I need to be eating to get enough calcium?

After a brainwave I thought that you guys would probably be more help than anyone else on the anti-milk product front :D

  • Also like newlywed, i'm not a vegan or veggie.
Just wondering if anyone has vitamin b12 injections?
Have been told by doctors to eat red meat/liver or fish every day and i'm struggling. (liver is a definate no no.)

Hey crocodileteeth, I had the B12 injections a few years ago for a different reason. I take a supplement with B12 in it.

  • I didn't think that you could take a supplement for B12. Thought it was something that is made by your own body when digesting food. Getting confused.

  • Thanks for that. Will instantly stop with the red meat. I will look into this further.
