I take 1 a day in the morning with my breakfast/coffee but not sure if you should take with/without but I will carry on as I am as they are working great :D

  • Morning!

Have tonnes of cleaning to do today which should keep me out of mischief :o I also need to complete a meal planner and get the shopping finished! I was so tired last night I sat and watched t.v instead of doing it :o

Have bought a little bundle of clothes for ds2 going to pick them up tomorrow, 10 items plus wellies in the next size up (age 4-5) so i will put them all away until he is grown out of what he has completely...it was too good a bargain to miss up as 4 items still had tags on so they will just have to sit in the cupboard for a while :rotfl: (he's 3 and in 3-4 clothing which fits well so just need him to grow a little lol)

Also bought myself 2 pairs of new shorts for £2 so picking them up today :T Hoping they will fit well for the gym and have saved myself a good few pounds as I needed them anyway! :D

Other than those little spends i have nothing else to report (yet) am on the look out for a raincoat for DD though as her winter coat is too heavy and warm for her (she says....! I tried to convince her otherwise :o) hopefully can get a second hand one for a few quid!

Anyway will be back later maybe with exciting updates about housework and cheap finds for children's wardrobes lol :rotfl:

Oh no, I have just sold a beautiful little rain coat on ebay which was only worn twice. It would have been perfect for your DD. What a shame :(

  • Ah that is typical Mrs P ;) !

I've picked up my shorts bargain, 2 pairs for £2 and one still had label on and the other pair look unworn! :T tiny bit short me thinks for the gym but will do for garden as I kept ruining my leggings/jeans and whatever else I was wearing!

I'm dressed and ready for the gym, not really feeling it today though!

I managed to get DD a teddy from the co op today. Spend £5 and get a token. 20 tokens later and you can get a teddy for a pound! Well DS2 didn't want one and now he's flipping changed his mind with only 3 weeks left of the promotion!!! It's taken me around 3 months to get all the tokens for just one lol i think he may be disappointed! I'm certainly not switching to co op for all my shopping just so he can get it ;) would spend double the amount i do elsewhere!

Anyway best go, ds2 is dressed and ready but he's put his transformers t shirt over the top of his uniform and is refusing to take it off. I might just take him as he is and let the teachers tell him to take it off! He'll listen to them whereas he just ignores me :D

    ta-ta for now!

I took DD2 to school in her PJs'and slippers once as she wouldn't get dressed for love nor money !

When she arrived she felt so stupid, she immediately changed her mind and begged for her uniform. Luckily I had it all packed and with me so a swift nip to the loos and she was ready for school in a flash ! She never did it again ! :rotfl:

same thing happened here! he got there all huffy and refusing to take it off, so got him to his peg, took his coat off and he went bright red :rotfl: he turned round to me and went 'I think i'll take it off now and you can take it home as I don't want to lose it' :rotfl: Hoping that won't happen again! Little pest! Oh and whilst i turned around to hang up the coat and put the t-shirt in my bag he did a runner. Found him in the next playground looking for his sister again  he really is quick! Even the teacher hadn't noticed him gone, which I wasn't too pleased about as he had to go past her to get out! They have him now and i've asked them to watch him, he seems determined to join the older kids (and his sister even though he fights with her all day long and they tell each other they hate each other all the time....!)

  • Well after my eventful week ( PMT week) I have spent some of my child benefit on cider and chocolate. Not very MSE i grant you, but it is very good for saving my sanity :D

I've also finished the tesco shop. Can you believe I ran out of every single herb, condiments, oil, pasta, rice, spread and teabags and sugar. Oh and cereals. Oh and everything. ALL AT ONCE  urgh!

    TEsco shop is £270

    oops.

I do have however all the meat, cheese, milk, butter, and condiments etc that i need to last a month! Oh !!!!!! forgot that i didn't order ketchup :o argh!

    Oh well nearly everything!

Have had 2 ciders and am debating the third. And on a school night. TUT!

I don't actually have anything MSE to report. Quite the opposite :o

Off to nose on other diaries and see what you are all up to :D

    Hi DFW

    Which character does DS want?
My sister works in a Co-op and has got loads of them - I might be able to get him one.
