Well DD was indeed over the crying by the time I saw her at lunch! Though she was insistent that as I'd dropped off ds2 that I was now allowed to take her out of the playground and that her teacher had said it was fine! Little monkey! She was left IN the playground after a quick distraction (I gave her a little toy I had in my pocket) and I ran home :rotfl:
We finished the pie together after school and have also eaten half of it alreadyI guess I better work extra hard at the gym tomorrow now
Done 2 washes today and dried them. They made it to wash baskets, and up the stairs to my room. And there they will stay until tomorrow, I haven't the energy for them today! I also fitted in some 'me' time and popped to sunbed (i've a course that was booked ages ago...my little treat) and had a lovely refreshing meditation and chakra cleanse :T:D
Veggie sausages went down a storm :T -well with me, DD and DS1. DS2 was not impressed! He looked at them, picked one up, observing very closely, then threw it on the plate. Scrunching up his eyebrows he turns to me and says 'What is this?' I'm like, 'well sausages'...he's not to be fooled he turned round and went 'I don't think so. And can't you see they aren't sausages. Are you blind' :rotfl: little beeping monster!
Tomorrow I think we will do another veggie meal and maybe save the last meat meal we have until Friday or saturday. Just need to eek everything out if i can until Tuesday and then I will have payday to sort out fridges and freezers again! One freezer has been turned off for two weeks now that is how tight things are
Dog has had a bath, ds1 did it  wonders will never cease. I even got more than a 3 word answer from him at dinner :eek: usually it's 'I dunno' 'what you asking me for' *grunt* and *sighs* he does a lot of those, grunting and sighing. Even over the simplest of things! I hope he grows out of it or else I feel very sorry for the woman he will end up with :rotfl:
Checked bank and had to borrow £20 from the letting house fund. Well it's only right i take it from there and if she has problems with the house she will have to ruddy waitSo I should have enough now to cover the last two bills due out tomorrow and the following day!
Right well I have a film lined up for tonight and now the kids are asleep i'm going to watch it with DS1 in peacehave a lovely evening all!

Morning All!
What a lovely day :j
Wash on (hoping it finishes soon as sun is disappearing behind clouds atm )
Can't remember if I mentioned it before and i'm too lazy to read back and check, but i'm looking after 3 kids from September (for a friend) before and after school. She is paying for all the expenses and suchlike and I know she's in a huge amount of debt too so I happily said i would do it over a childminder. She's also offered me £150 a week so I am hoping to throw most of this at my debt! Well am meeting up with friend on Friday after dropping ds2 off (she will be dropping her DD off) and we're off for a cuppa and chat but she's interested now in a sideline business and when I said that i'd had previous interest she was happy for us to go in together. Maybe something and nothing yet but i'm quite excited :j -I am however wondering how i can afford costa atm......*scratches head in wonder*
I have tonnes of washing up to do as is usual *sigh* really really MISS my dishwasher (now i know i have said that before :rotfl:)
Bank is depleted. After the very last bill of the month goes out tomorrow I will have £1.25 in there until Monday. Joy.
Well anyway I had best shoot off and do the washing up, it won't do itself, mores the pity! And I could waffle on forever really
See ya later (much later as I need to burn around 4000 calories at the gym to make up for banoffee pie intake..........oops)MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Love banoffee pie but agree no good for the weight loss! £150 extra a week should help you get back on track nicely. Will look forward to hearing about business venture if it happensMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Afternoon all
Well it wasn't a NSD here a lovely friend borrowed me 20 quid till Monday so I could top up food :j Did spend most of it but I had a few quid left for c0sta tomorrow (feels such a waste of money saving it for that thoughbut i never go out so.....:o)
Was up nice and early today, had a wash done and on the line by 8.30, washing up done and i went off with friends for a catch up. Did gym after ds2 went into nursery and did 40 mins on the cross trainer -I feel nearly dead now! Also did weights and 50 squats! I WILL ache tomorrow, can feel it already :rotfl: Got home and after a shower I made some chickpea burgers and they were absolutely YUMMY  even the kids loved them :j
The recipe in case anyone wants them was:
(to make 8 patties)
2 eggs,
8 tble spoons oil
4 hard pieces of bread ( to make breadcrumbs)
120g of cheese (i only used half this as I wanted to give the kids slices on top of burger as well)
1 Large onion (or two small)
3/4 cloves of garlic
2 tins of Chick peas (i have had these sitting in cupboard since last summer when i got them for pennies from AF :rotfl:)
Basically mix it all together minus the chickpeas in the blender (cheese grated) and then mash up the chickpeas with a fork and add that in too! Make into patty shapes and put in fridge till you need them :T You could grill them, I pan fried them for 5 mins or so on each side and stuck them in a bun :j
Right whilst i've been on here my eldest has decided to soak the 2 little ones with water outside!!! Better go save them!!!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. DS1 did the washing up earlier and used nearly all the f@iry that was left! I'm secretly quite happy as I wanted to make my own when that one got low
So i've just made up my first batch of washing up liquid :T ! I hope it works! It's cooling now and then I will add the essential oils! Tomorrow morning's breakfast dishes will be the first test!!! Will let you know how I get onAnd I think it cost less than 20p for 3 litres...will do sums though and double check!
