  • Well hoovering never got done as ds2 fell asleep really early and i didn't want to wake him!

Presents all wrapped, cake finished, washing up done & house is tidy (even if not hoovered yet lol) I've just placed an order with AF (seeing as though it was a spend day anyway ;) ) and am hoping it now arrives before i go to mums next week! otherwise will have to delay the order! I've ordered lots of snacks for the holidays (only need to buy crisps now :T ) and also some toiletries as stocks running low & lentils & cupboard stuff :) determined to stick to this budget now! So £47.39/300 already.....

Well was woken up at 8am (not too bad really) by the birthday boy and the first thing he asked for was cake! lol! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

After waking his sister up we all went downstairs where they proceeded to fight over presents, me having to remind DD that she had had her birthday 2 weeks ago *d'oh*

She finally gave in and let him open them all :rotfl: Breakfast is now done, toys were played with for an hour, they are both outside now playing with their old didicars :rotfl:

the sun is shining, but i just heard the radio and they said it was going to rain still so not sure what to do with the day! I think i will just let them play out as long as i can and then decide later. If they are tired enough they may just well settle with toys on the living room floor and a dvd :money: But we shall see

  • :j Thanks granny :)

DS2 had a wonderful day (i think, boy of little words :rotfl:) we went to the park and brought the dog along for a little run. The dog did really well and came back everytime i let him off the lead (eventually) although i still put him on the lead around other dogs. We got to the car as it started spitting, i dropped the pup back off home and we headed to mcdonalds. As we got out the car we were soaked!! literally drenched through ...the little ones had rain coats in the car boot so i put those on them but i was wearing a little vest top, argh! I've now got a horrid chill and can't get warm. we had some cake and watched scooby doo & had a friend of mine over and now are chilled watching shrek! For dinner i made them, breadsticks, cheese, and sliced apple :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: so lazy. But also feeling so rough really CBA doing anything else!

    So spends today: £11.. something.

As soon as kids eye lids start dropping they are going up, and so am I!!! *yawn!*

Here are some warm Granny hugs (((((hugs))))) Hope they do the trick.

Certainly nothing wrong with their dinner. DGD1 had dairylea on toast with a lemon muffin and then milky-bar dessert with white chocolate buttons. Very healthy, not :D

Hope you get a good night's sleep and feel better in the morning. Good spends for birthday celebrations x

  • Morning! Yes you're right it was a very balanced meal :rotfl: (much better than what i fed myself anyway!!!! :bdaycake: :D )

Well i had around 13 hours sleep, give or take the odd 20 mins the kids or dog had me up in the night!!! The poor pup got his paw stuck on our stupid back door where there is a little ledge type thing and his nail/claw got stuck :( poor thing was yelping in pain and i had to pull it out :( there was blood everywhere. After it came out he seemed ok though so i didn't bother with vets or anything (plus it was 9.30 in the evening!) this morning he is walking on it so i assume it's ok. Means i need to re-mop the kitchen floor though and follow blood trails up the stairs and bleach it clean!

    Jobs for today:

[STRIKE]Finding a locksmith for Wales () [/STRIKE] Just had a phone call whilst typing, have sorted that out now, god knows how much it will cost to change locks though :( apparantly the lock is broken but i think it is what i've had several times before, tenants wanting a brand new lock so no other old tenant may have same key!!!! Locks were checked last week and were fine!!!!
    Parcelling up ebay items
    sending ebay items
    Tidy front room
    wash up
    clothes washing
    Tidy bedrooms
    quick clean of bathroom
    hang wash out

Have already checked online banking and pay is due tomorrow as is tax credits. There is a little extra in the pay which i was going to transfer to savings, but i may need it now for locksmith. Also £20 extra on TC so may transfer that, will get my bill first and go from there#!

Am hoping my AF order will arrive before Wed afternoon when i leave to go to London.

Right another cup of tea is in order. then will get on with washing up. I hate a dirty kitchen. Then will do the ebay and get dressed and go send it. Have had some of them nearly a week oops!
