What panel is that? If its Consumer Pulse they were great. I got a £10 House of Fraser voucher every month for years. Used them for Christmas and any left over sold on eBay for almost the full amount :D.

Am shattered now! Have been on my feet all day and only just sat down. Have done the garden too & started on the shed but that was abandoned after i found a mahoosive spider in there with tonnes of eggs :( was too scared to do anything so threw it all back in! DH can do that seeing as though the entire shed is filled with his rubbish :(

We had curry for dinner which was yummy and i'm so tired & full now i just want to sleep! DS2 is flat out already, but dd was woken by a neighbour still playing so i let her go back down for a while so she's out in the garden playing now. DS1 took pup for a walk, was gone around 4 mins  he really is so lazy. He sits in his room all day and if i ask him to do something i get grief from him about it for ages. It's easier just to do it myself!!!!!

Anyway have a herbal tea on the go and may treat myself to a choccie biscuit or two ;) whilst catching up on here! Oh and made £4 from selling some old summer dresses of DD's :T that will pay for the tunnel/bridge fare tomorrow so should be a money neutral day

You've had a few horrible days.
First the cake and then the Post Office, dog and DS1 saga.

I hope things improve soon. It's great that you have received some money from your tenants. :j

  • Good Morning!

Hi Bonnington I think you're right, the only saving grace was the money from the tenants lol. The other one moves in tomorrow as they've both come from different homes to share this one for uni next year. So the first one moved in without a moan or a hitch, let's hope the other one does!

Well dad not coming anymore 'something important has cropped up' i knew this would happen anyway (which is why carpets remain un-hoovered lol) so it will just me me and the two little ones on sunday. As it's raining here today i'm guessing it will continue to do so now all weekend (as it was predicted for tomorrow and Sunday anyway...just not today!) ...i've checked the bank and there is no money in there (well aside from £275 that i'm trying to ignore!) And i've the child benefit due in and also the PP money i requested...so have decided if it's raining i will take the kids to soft play on Sunday, and maybe a mcdonalds for dinner (although not sure if money will stretch that far...)

DS1 is dressed before all of us for once, obviously pleased to be getting out! I'm hoping that the sun shines in central london tomorrow as that's where the open air concert is that he's off to! Typical British weather!

No more bills due out of accounts now until payday -that i can see anyway!

Need to bake tomorrow so hoping today doesn't drain me too much, already feeling exhausted from being on my feet all week running around after the kids.

I'm hoping to see my nan today although i'm taking Duke with us so not sure if she will want a pup in the house, although he's very good and hasn't chewed any thing of ours  he's lost lots of teeth this last week and new ones are poking through and he's not been bad whilst losing them, i.e biting you and screaming constantly & keeping me awake all night - i really should stop comparing him to my children :rotfl:, although he has gone off his food so hoping he starts eating properly very soon :A

Right my berry tea has gone, so i'm off for a shower and some clothes! See you all tomorrow now :D

Great news about the tenants money, hoping the second one moves in without too much fuss.:D

  • Ah well def not a NSD today! I was lazy and drove to the co-op this morning for betty crocker choc fudge icing/filling :p The birthday cake is in the oven, did that bit myself at least lol. I also got some small smartie looking sweets and i asked the boy behind the counter if they were on offer as was a bit confusing, and he said no, but put them through for me at a discount anyway :T in fact i saved 50p on the promotional price :T:T Note to oneself: must wear this top more often, his eyes were firmly not on the shopping :rotfl::rotfl: Then we went across the road to the card shop, not very cheap in there but only a small family run business and i know how they're suffering so got ds2 card , banner & badge in there :) total spends were less than £7 :T and then i went and picked up something i bought from someone on fb. It's a barbie blow up bed ready to use when dd goes to mum's house next week :j it was only £6 and even ones on ebay were selling for more so i had to get it :o 'onest guv!

Wash is in the machine although rain is threatening -Nooooooooooo:(

Ummm not much else to do today really apart from take dog out. I will wrap presents, put banners up and do the icing on the cake later when ds2 is in bed.

DS1 went off to london yesterday, they were there in time to see the last leg of the flame arriving at the palace. And today they're going to a concert somewhere near by. Lucky him!

My neighbour just called me over the fence (was worried it was because the kids were being naughty ) but he has given us a bag of donuts :T no good for my healthy eating though lol so the kids can share those ;) ...today is so far shaping up ok, if the rain holds off it will be perfect :rotfl:

Will probably be a spend day tomorrow now as weather still saying rain! SO soft play it will be. So should only be around £15 (will get them something to eat out too) But hopefully Monday should be a nsd, my final one for July :T
