Good Morning Hun !
How are you feeling today ! I can see why you had a bit of a meltdown to be honest, loads of stuff gone on, made you mad then all of a sudden real life kicks in and its quite normal in my opinion to then have a total meltdown. Well at least I do anyway ! Hope oyu are feelign better today.
DS1's report sounds really good. You should be very proud. Not sure what to suggest on the English. I have a similar problem with DD1, she enjoys most subjects but is thankful that french for example is now finished forever and is determined to burn her French books ont he Campfire at the weekend !! As far as taking DS stuff away, Iam the worst persont o give advice as I am a bit of a soft touch and I hate upsetting them or taking anything away, so I scream and shout and jump up and down a bit instead, then hope they have learnt their lesson !! Not convinced that ploy works though !!!
Hope you got some sleep and the kids kept away from your bed xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Love the way you release all that stress on here, that has to be good for you, much better out than in!
I'm particularly impressed by your Grocery Budget, well done, what is your secret??
Oh i've already been relaying the story to everyone that will listen :rotfl: thing is it makes me even madder each time i hear it:rotfl: I think i am a little bit crazy :o:eek:
The grocery budget is a bit of a sore subject at the moment because i have a teenage boy in the house that is ACTUALLY eating me out of house and home  But other than that i find it quite easy to stick to now because i have a formula. Buy all my meat, tinned foods, dry foods and anything that can be frozen (including milk/bread) on pay day! That way if i run low on money i can live on what we have9/10 i do a meal plan too so i know exactly how many chicken breasts to buy, how many packs of mince etc ........yes i really am that anal about it :rotfl: it's THE only way i get it to work :rotfl: BUT like i said with ds1 home it's all gone to pot. i've bought £85 worth of food this week and i just feel devastated by this:rotfl::eek: (it had better last the week too!)
Oh and how rude of mehello  and welcome to my diary

God the meltdown continues, honestly the kids are scared of me (and the puppy) cos i shout that loud!!!!I'm going into town today, i want to find some cheapish learn to write type books for dd to practice with and i will see if they have any mental mathematic ones and english ones for ds and i will help him with some 'homework' i'm sure that will cause lots of eye ball rolling but there we go, that's a mother's job to p1ss off her kids at every given opportunity, no?? At least that's what was in my hand book when i had him

Ok i'm trying to be bright and back to normal today  so i've cleaned the kitchen (tidy house, tidy mind) and taken ds1 for a shoe fitting -he's now a size 6.5 so bigger feet than me! Ebayer has not paid  for expensive item. And the 99p one has paid this morning so will post that off this morning :T
I've requested £46 from paypal this will go straight into a savings account. I've logged on to the online banking, transferred money to normal account from the savings one that holds the dd money for the month. I still have 2 more dd's due out and that account is now empty  really not sure how that happened so i will have to go over the bank again later when i have more time. I also received an email from the bank, regarding the email i sent them about charges to my main account; Pleading poverty etc etc... and they are refunding me the charges :j:T:j so at last some good news :T:dance:
Ummm not much else to report really apart from the fact that ds2 has been very upset recently and cried at the drop of a hat, not sure what is wrong with him, but in my 'delicate' state i'm really not sure what to do with him cos he is driving me mad!!! He also asked me this morning 'is daddy dead?':eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Not sure where he heard something like that but it's worrying to say the least, he is only 2 (well nearly 3) so not sure he even understands the concept of death yet, am wondering if the ps3 & call of duty have anything to do with this.............!!! But i got dh to ring home and ds2 wouldn't talk to him he just burst into tearsso he's clearly missing him! poor baby

Hi hun!
Great (potential) news about the possible potential Olympics bonus!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Not to good about DS2, poor little mite. Maybe he's having a mid-life crisis.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Seriously though, give him a cuddle from me.
On the shoe front, I know this sounds majorly bizarre. Don't suppose any of your kids can wear brown school shoes? Bought a beautiful pair for Cole from Russell & Bromley last year in a 13, but by the time school started (only 2 weeks later!) they were too small therefore never worn. They are yours if they are any good to you?:ALBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

lol G to the mid-life crisis...i often wonder if that's what is wrong with me
and cuddles have been shared - the only thing that cheered him up though was a gun with sponge bullet things in (??) from matalan in their sale so £1.50 spent and a happy little fella
I would feel cheeky taking the shoes off you cos i expect it would be a few years yet till ds2 is in them, ds1 is nearly in mens size 7 and ds2 is in a small size 7xx

Be back soon xxx
Oh and re the little one and Daddy, probably carp piece of advice but my girls had a picture of them with daddy by the bed to say goodnight to when he was away. Might not help, it may make him miss him all the more, but just a thought and they were always making him pictures and cards to post to him. If we had no way of getting them to him, I would then scan them and email them and he would then pretend he had them and describe all his favourite bits . They would do that from a really really early age xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Geez, you did have a bummer of a weekend. Kind of a good job you didn't eat her cake - God only knows what would have been in it!!
Sorry to hear DH is away, having the kids 24/7 is constant and stressful. It was a good idea someone else posted about the photo. Poor ds2, they don't really understand the whole thing. He probably notices that you are different too when dad is away. Have you tried skype so he can see dad when he talks to him?
Glad to hear demon niece is away - no one needs other peoples demons, we all have enough of our own to deal with
The man with the "pretend legs" sounds lovely. It is really good for kids to have come across this as it helps them not avoid people with disabilities.
I hope your week continues to get better.0 -
Am back from town
Went to the library- my card said 'note on your card see desk' type thing. oops probably a fine, so i pulled out ds1 library card instead and his said the same !!! So i went up with his because he is too young for charges and it turns out he just needed an upgrade to young adult and mine i kept quiet about as i know full well it's chargesand only had a certain amount of money on me
Went to £1 shop and 99p shop as sometimes you're lucky and can get writing books in there! No luck and i was good i didn't pick anything else upthen went to whsmith, they had hundreds of books and i didn't know which one to get but i eventually got dd a cheap princess abc book (if i only had read your post pinot beforehand! although any other books much appreciated
) and got ds1 an english gcse revision book & also a maths one- how to get an A* in a week! DS2 couldn't be left out so picked him up a cheap gruffalo colour/activity book thing. £16 altogether   after i spent £10.50 in matalan earlier i'm feeling very poor now !!!
P.s we have a pic of all of us in ds & dd room- it's the only pic we have of all of us AND ds2 is nowhere to be seen!!! He's in my tummy, i'm holding dd (she's about 4 months in the pic) and dh & ds1 are there. I keep getting phone calls & walking past people doing studio shoots and i've love to have one of the whole family. Maybe after i've reached my emergency fund money i will save for a family pic done professionally

DD1 wants to be a photographer, I will send her round and she can do you a studio shoot, just for the experience !! I gave up having them done years ago, one because of the expense and secondly because we seemed to take nicer photos ourselves !!
Also must apologise for my truly awful typing in the post I wrote earlier today I was in such a rush it was complete and utter mumbo jumbo as you probably guessed !
Oh and fantastyk I agree Skype is a great idea. Mr Pinot used to make silly movies of himself pulling stupid faces at the girls and having pretend conversations with them, leaving a gap for them to answer ( ie hello girls is the sun shining today ? ) then a gap which gave them time to answer yes or no, then he would say something else and blow them kisses for them to catch. He would then email the movies and they used to play them over and over again catching all of the kisses and thinking they were chatting to him. They were so tiny they didnt realise the conversations were the same every time !!! xxx:rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
