Well today won't be a no spend day! I've put off shopping as long as possible cos i'm always skint but i have to go, we've no fresh stuff, milk is low and bread is gone! So will make a list and try to stick to it!!! I have £85 still to last the week till Monday so hoping it's plenty for petrol, one trip to soft play if the weather turns bad at the weekend & food shopping!

No payment from the ebay item :( others are all sent off so no worrying about those. Will find some more bits to list...possibly all ds1 stuff but will again try fb today for one final push. Umm not much else on the agenda apart from cleaning, washing (The SUN is out WAHEY!) and a bit of paperwork!

I've received my m&s order so have checked all uniforms fit and put them away :) Just lots of shoes, trainers, rugby boots & walking boots to buy now! i will take ds1 with me today and stop at brantanos see what they have there. If i don't like the prices i will get him measured and hit ebay!

Ok again i'm on here and not dressed so best get off as need to leave the house in half hour !

    Chat laters :)

OMG to the Demon Cake Lady !! I honestly cant believe her attitude, but if you read your post back, it is also really quite funny !! Sorry !!!! :o You know what Im like now though by now !
When DD1 had her first birthday, I spent £90  yes £90 on a cake for her. Was supposed to be babies building blocks all in pretty pastel colours piled on top of each other and Happy Birthday DD1 written on each block. When it arrived it looked like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, everyone commented on it being a nice cake and how clever I was to make it myself !! Well that said it all really ,as they all know I am no baker, so it must have been carp, and also she couldnt spell birthday, so it said Hapy ( with one p) birtday (without the H). I was mortfied, and this was from a well known ( at the time, closed down now) cake shop ! So although I did laugh at your story, which I am ashamed to say as it really wasnt funny, but I could just imagine you hammering the womans door down and agruing over Cinderella , I do also sympathise ....and apologise !! :o:rotfl:

SIM, best wishes to you and your DS for Thursday. Hope all goes well. My DD1 was hilarious in the operating theatre when they put her to sleep, I didnt have a chance to worry or get upset she just made me laugh .They asked her before giving her the sleepy stuff if she was allergic to anything, so she thought long and hard and then told them Face Paint !!! We envisaged the surgeons getting bored during the op and deciding to return her to recovery with her face painted as a Lion or Clown just for a laugh !!

Sounds like you have lots of lovely plans for the hols. I keep forgetting to get the blasted Theatre Tixs. I have looked and chosen seats and dates so many times then got distracted and wandered off and done something else !

As far as long posts go, well you know I read them !! We are as bad as each other !!! Im going now, before I beat your record, or even my own previously set record !!!

Have a great day xxxx The sun is shining ! Whoop Whoop !!! :j:j

    Hey DFW

How lovely of your neighbour to explain it all to the kids - regardless of the terrible things that happen to some people their nature remains unscathed.

    Bless him:A.

Will hubby get extra money for the Olympics by any chance?

  • Afternoon :)

Well Mrs P! I knew someone had to find it funny *insert stern face here* but to be honest everyone i have told here has laughed...and now i am beginning to see the funny side lol esp me on her door step gobbing off (and i have an awful south east london accent that makes me sound even more chavvy than i am :rotfl: and always sounds worse when i am either drunk or angry :rotfl:) but at the time i was actually hopping mad :rotfl:

Skint i didn't know i could open an unpaid thing so soon, i will look into that right now (well after i've finished here :rotfl::cool:)

Gargrave, he was so sweet with them it brought a tear to my eye and for at least 10 minutes put things into perspective, until my brain kicked in again with demon psycho cake lady thoughts! AND just today i have heard a *rumour* that the army men may be offered a bonus for doing the olympics. I shall def not hold my breath though until the money goes in! If it does i am hoping to pay off the smaller debts with it :D (only a few hundred needed for them so let's hope it there is a bonus it's not a tenner lol)

Mandz i am nearly sorted with uniforms :T:j BUT still have tonnes of shoes to buy :( and i am one of those odd women that hate shoe shopping :( it drives me mad, even for myself!! my entire family have fat chubby wide feet! even the skinny no meat types in the family  so shoe shopping is a nightmare *argh*!

    Well update on today:

    Spends:
    £20.05 petrol
£22.47 tesco -needed some vitamins as well as a few other bits and bobs i can't get in aldis

So well and truly over the weeks budget so nil money left really! I have money in paypal but am debating keeping that there for bits and bobs i need for school for the kids

Dinner tonight is chilli from the freezer and cleaning wise. Well, i've done nothing - i made myself so angry over the weekend that i've exhausted myself out on adrenaline rushes :rotfl: so an early night i think and a cleaning day tomorrow!!!:rotfl:

  • me again!

Well i'm having a bit of a melt down..........actually several small melt downs lately :( all originally brought on by crazy cake lady & spoilt brat niece...but everytime the kids are doing the smallest thing now i can feel myself cracking! I've had about 3 cries today and just feel exhausted. I've never been one to last well on little sleep & i think the last week or so has finally caught up with me. DD or DS2 have both snuck into my bed each night and I don't sleep well or very deeply with them in my bed. So tonight they are not allowed. I've already warned and they are sulking already! They've been demanding all day (probably no more than usual but i'm tired and cranky) everytime i have sat down they've asked for something. Everytime i've got myself a drink they've wanted it. DS2 has whined all day and whining breaks me the quickest. My kids clearly know this. the second easiest way to break me is rolling of the eyes. DS1 has this down to a tee, so he now has no games consoles, phone or laptop as i went *snap*.

I got his report in other news, it was all good for the personal house report :) and then i got to the grades.........was awful! I double checked and yep, they've sent me someone elses report, which actually probably isn't that awful seeing as though he's a whole year younger than ds1 *my turn to roll eyes* so anyway got to the printed out teachers marks bit of the report (there is about 30 loose pages in his envelope so you have to sift through to relevant parts - i like to skip the new uniform list & bill) and his marks were good, what was expected of him. However, he has to try harder, he daydreams in some classes and others he is very receptive, engaged and happy to be there and gives 110%! The ones that he doesn't like to try in though are English :undecided so how do i get him to try in a subject he clearly loathes, yet is vital to every other subject he does :think: but overall he is a 'likeable, bright lad with a lot of potential' :D so now i feel kinda bad for taking all his stuff away :o:eek:!
