  • Ugh, i really struggled with that meal plan! We have such fussy eaters in the house (ME hahahaha & kids :p) that it's usually the same old to be honest with you so i try to spice it up a bit (not literally though ;) ) with same ingredients but different meals! I need to be a little more creative/ adventurous/ willing to try new things :D

My son is the worst as wont eat veg or pasta or pizza. DD will try bits but veg is a problem and no gravey or sauces. I seem to cook different dishes a lot of the time. Tried the 'eat that or go hungry' approach but it never worked - they did go hungry!

We almost made it to the beach but chicken out just as downpour arrived. We always go on our wedding anniversary and build sandcastles (tomorrow is anniversay, but thought today would be easier). This is the first in 7 years of not going - will try again next weekend

  • Just got car insurance quotes, tried every comparison site i could find, also the ones not on there (direct line etc) and have found the cheapest one...£328 :T however i wasn't impressed the same company also was cheapest on 3 other sites, BUT they were all different prices??? Is this because of the fee the comparison sites charge? they must vary their fees quite a lot  £200 difference between cheapest and dearest from SAME company between sites !! it really pays to shop around huh!

Also found cheapest dog insurance for what we need so will buy both on pay day :) (or put aside for when car insurance is due as quote is saved until it runs out anyway!) xx

    Hi DFW :)

Well done on the insurance quote, that doesn't seem too bad (although free would be better of course :D). We've just paid ours and our DDs and it was over £1,400 for both :eek: . Needless to say it's been a very [STRIKE]frugal[/STRIKE] skint month!
