  • afternoon ladies and gents!

well I am now a qualified reiki practioner :j the course was very tiring though and i'm utterly exhausteD! And apart from that it's brought up a lot of energies/emotions in me that i thought i had dealt with! Need to do lots of self-healing then i'd like to get on with helping others once i feel a little better :)

Hubby and I having huge rows again, not really dealing with that right now though, as i know i'm right so i just need to bring him round to my way of thinking then we can live in harmony :o:p

Have £75 in the bank- £50 stolen from the emergency funds. £70 worth of bills due out tomorrow and then £46 worth of child benefit due in. This will have to see me through to next monday  and i am on empty on the petrol tank and also food cupboards are empty

Going to look around soon for some pet insurance as free one runs out. AM hoping nothing happens to him in the transition period as we can't afford to pay for it till pay day! Also going to look around see if i can find his food anywhere else cheaper. He likes what he is on now so that's good now just to find cheapest place to buy it ;) preferably with cash back :p

DH is away from Friday now not today. So i can use the odeon voucher i have in the week sometime :) and also go to the gym this week without worrying about childcare!

DS1 has no credit ( think he spends it all texting (harrassing) girls and downloading music) so hasn't called home today.

DH has made dinner, and cakes :o i have been utterly exhausted after being attuned and sharing healing all weekend (surely i should feel energised and healed! lol)

Anyway nothing else to report and need to close eyes lol so will be back tomorrow :D

Well done Reiki Master ;). Perhaps once your self healing is done, you can charge to heal others? :D

Hubby will come round eventually, usually I just have to make it sound like his idea in the first place, then all is harmonious again xx J

  • Morning!
Well I've been a good girl and been to the gym. Am still waiting to hear about the returned dress being credited back to me. Have a feeling will be after pay day now though!

I'm allowed to charge for reiki treatments now but with no experience I would feel a fraud so will get lots of experience first on family and friends ;)

Hubby and I arguing, I have a sad feeling we are nearing the end. We can't agree on anything. Not good for a harmonious home and I have to put my kids first. He goes away soon though so no rash decisions but I just feel like there is only so much fight in me ( I mean that in a positiveway lol)

Today I'm going to give the house a clean and I'm going to practice my reiki on the negative energies in the house :p if it works I'll be so happy!! Lol

Anyway best go am still in gym clothes and I've once again got my breathing back to normal :p xx

    HI DFW,
    Congratulations on your Reiki 2.
When I trained in Reiki my hubby and I fought over everything for the 21 days after each level. I know they talk about the 21 day cleanse but nobody ever mentioned the 21 day GRRRRRR feelings!
We're still together though. Each level of Reiki brought up for me the things that irritated both of us that we had suppressed and then wham they all came up together.
I think the recession is bringing up lots for those of us who are having financial difficulties - life is so much easier if both people in a relationship can afford to do what they want and spend what they want on the kids etc. its when we can't really afford to spend and one of us does, on things the other doesn't agree with now that every penny is a prisoner that things get difficult. Also when we're financially challenged we tend to be under each other's feet all the time as it costs money to go anywhere - except for a walk.

Just want to say I'm thinking of you and I hope you get through this tough time - I've been through loads of them - married 23 years now - still have times just like you're describing and then others when I feel so lucky to be with him.
Let yourself get through the next few weeks and when the after affects of the Reiki course are over you can work through it from a different space.

Another thing that helped me is EFT with Matrix Reimprinting as lots of our problems in our relationships today come from childhood issues. The EFT and MR combined, source and clear the childhood memory and we don't attract the same stuff in our relationships with anyone after we've resolved it.

Sorry for rabbiting on, I'm into healing and personal development, and you know yourself when you've found something that works you want to shout it from the rooftops.
It was the EFT and MR that helped me start to look at my finances and how I handle money.

Its got great results for PTSD and work with the armed forces among many other things.

Keep doing nice things for yourself, be good to you!

Thank you so much for your reply :) it's so nice to know i'm not alone! I told my husband i may feel a bit odd emotionally wise after the attunement but he wouldn't listen. I also told my friend today and she looked at me like i had two heads as if 'how can something that doesn't even use proper drugs cause such a change in you' so i don't really have anyone to talk to regarding the reiki.

I think a lot of my issues being stirred up now are from the early days of our relationship when things were fiery to say the least. And trust was broken many times and now i can't seem to let it go. (thought i had hmmm) DH thinks i'm mental for bringing up things from 12/13 years ago and i think i'm well within my rights too. Who is right eh, noone will know lol.

Can you tell me more about EFT? not sure i know what this is? but sounds like it may help.

Last night i spent an hour doing self-healing using an 'emotion' kotodama and i felt wonderful afterwards, felt fine this morning and gradually as the day has gone on i have slipped back to how i was last night :( it seems such hard work but am determined to change even if the relationship has had it i need to change for the kids. anyway have rambled enough, hope you're reading and can tell me more about eft & mr? xx

  • ok so have thoroughly cleaned the kitchen :) and have sold some unused dishwasher items (tablets, salts etc ) that i was holding on to in case someone bought me a new one lol. Decided i want the cupboard space for puppy food though ;) so £5 coming to me later.

Haven't had a chance to try the healing / cleansing energies on the house may try later but had a friend pop by who already thinks i'm cuckoo so thought perhaps me wandering around with incense sticks and chanting may scare her off for ever :rotfl: i'm sure the kids would love it though :D

Worked out finances, £31.58 to last me until next monday :D I CAN do it! (i hope) Pup needs food and pets at home have 10 pouches of his food for £6 which is 60p so 3p less than all the online shops i could find. So will need to make a trip there! Also need petrol.....unless i take a walk to aldi and pets at home which is a LONG walk lol. So may have to use £10 for petrol, £6 for pup and then have £15 for food for the week. Need 6 meals & some fridge bits for £15. Can it be done???? we shall see.............I may borrow £10 from 'a' fund (whichever one has money lol) and put it back on Monday, as i will get £46.30 again for only 4 days which i don't really need...hmmm yes that makes more sense. £25 for 6 days, 4 people maybe do-able.....what d'ya think!

I think that's amazing. I seem to be spending a fortune on groceries this month.

EFT stands for emotional freedom technique. There's a man from England, Karl Dawson who has taken it one step further and created the technique matrix reimprinting to go with it. He has a book out on it. I'm not sure if he does one to one sessions any more, I think he might teach all the time now. The man I have appointments with is his friend Ted Wilmont. I can give you his website address. I'm not sure but I think I remember reading on here that we can't put other people's websites etc on here. If we're not supposed to then pm me and I'll send you his details, or if you google his name along with eft his details should come up either. I have an apointment with Ted every now and then when things build up, he works via the phone and skype although he's based in London. It costs more than I've paid for any other type of healing in the last 14 years since I got into healing but the returns of the changes in my and my family's lives are massive. Recently I had an appointment about money around the same time I started to come on here and get my finances in order. Although things have gotten tight - I knew these couple of months had a lot of extra outgoings, money is starting to turn up to fill up some of the holes I created. My signature should change for the better in the next few days :j I won a gift voucher for amazon for £25 as well so that will come in really handy in this house.

I found his website thank you :) will have a little look after. It sounds very interesting! I did my self-healing last night but didn't feel as strong as the night before when i used the 'emotion' kotodama (used the connection one last night)

How amazing that you had an appointment about finances then things start looking up!

  • Ok spends today:

    Petrol £10
    Duke's food £6
    Adli £21.50

Meals this week are omelette, jacket potatoes, spag bol & other random concoctions from the freezer/cupboards lol.

Think dh will go use the cinema ticket to see prometheus if not i will go and watch something before friday.

Money is very tight but we should be fine now.

Last night i put an order in to Donald Russell with emergency funds. £97 on meat for the month, although i will need chicken & salmon to add to this. And the mince i ordered should last 2-3 months so meat next month should come to around £80-90. I will put money straight back in on Pay day plus emergency funds for next month.

That dress has reached the warehouse it came from and money has been released to me :) but takes up to 5 days. Not bothered though the money will go to a savings account and i will have £30 for 4 days next week until pay day :T

I will fiddle with the spreadsheet later as i need to budget for my son's last day of term. It's usually a busy day and full on so we will bring packed lunch but have to pay for dinner somewhere before heading home (usually the pub next door lol) plus the petrol (if i didn't have a car i swear i would be rich!)

Must also budget for pet insurance, food for him (as i know he is a little piggy now and how much he needs lol)

umm also for more entertainment as ds1 will be on holiday so might want to do a few things.

I'm also doing a massive food shop at the beginning of the month as i refuse to be in this situation again come the end of the month. at least if i have a full freezer, and cupboards i will be happy as i know the kids will be fed. Anything else is extra.

Might look into going to one of dad's lodges on his lake for August he did invite me already but i forgot and so need to confirm in case he has let it out already for summer. WIll see if my mum would like to go also so need to sort out dates & money for august for that.

The MOT & car insurance are both due for renewal and thanks to all the work we've done on it recently i haven't got enough funds to pay for insurance in full :( little sad about this really as managed it the last 2 years. But i don't want to rob all the emergency funds i've built up in case a real emergency comes up!

Anyway enough from me, i'm off to have a nosey on everyone elses diaries :A
