  • ahh thank you slm :D

I've also just realised i've had a nsd today whahey!!! probably my first this month  !!

Have just ordered £50 of stuff for birthdays coming up (via cashback & all half price ;) ) so ds2 sorted as it a few other little pressies for other family members :) -money was put aside for this although i feel guilty spending it when i have no money to live on. But we have food, we have petrol left (all that we need anyway) and £46 a week from now on to live on. I think i need to go cold turkey again ;) so i spent the money on gifts! :p

  • :j Morning!

Am on here with breakfast in hand to get myself back into the swing of posting again lol.

    Today's jobs are:

*post office run (send back dress)
    *gym -1 hour
*maybe cinema this afternoon (i want to watch a film by myself- it's a mini goal i set myself yonks ago ;) and i have tickets from groupon left still so will see what is on and if dh needs to go anywhere)
    *NSD!
*some washing whilst the sun is out
    *some cleaning
    *short meditation later on

Not a big list but would like to get everything done on it :)

I've checked the bank we are £10 in credit :j and all bills are paid or have the money put aside for them still. SO really just food, any other expense & petrol to see me through the next few weeks. Oh and whatever dh will need to take with him. I'm hoping not much - as we have 'not much' money anyway! I really don't want to raid emergency funds, it's not an emergency. We over spent! :o:rotfl:

Morning. I think shorter lists are better as they are more achievable. Long lists make me feel like i have failed if i dont complete them.

A movie by yourself sound great. Would love to be able to do that, or shopping alone, infact anything alone for hour or two would be great!

My treat for today is my tax return and then ringing tax credit people - exciting life i lead :)

    Have a great day

Had to transfer some money from savings, bank went £7 over drawn!!!

Secret millionaire catch up now and then film with dh then bed! Am exhausted from the gym 2 days in a row and am aching!! (far too unfit lol)

I'd like to see the Snow White film, I never go to the cinema by myself, I don't know why. Probably a bit of an expensive treat for me at the moment anyway :(

Glad you're progressing with things and sound upbeat. It's good to have you around again!

    Ah thank you piq :)

That was the first time i'd ever been to the cinema myself and was good! Definitely concentrated on the film more than the person sat next to me for a change (usually the kids moaning lol) I got a groupon voucher for £5 (got 2) i got them for the holidays for when ds1 was at home but i had stupidly deleted the email with vouchers and had to call up and get them re-sent (3 days it took to press send on their end pfft) and so we paid for ds1 to go with hubby and i've now got 2 tickets lol so i used one yesterday and i'm going again on Friday i think :)

    xx

  • well good morning all, the sun is shining again (hopefully for a bit longer than last time !!)

And i'm in a much better mood than have been of late. I've been worrying a lot about money. We actually had £-7 yesterday. Considering i have no overdraft was a tad worrying lol. I've raided the emergency funds (just a little) to cover it and i guess i just have to ride out the down turn until things start looking a bit rosier again. I do all these meditations, reiki treatments on myself you'd think i was the perfect picture of mental health but i just can't stop the endless nagging of myself sometimes telling me we're broke, everything is rubbish etc etc! Today though my daughter put that into perspective, we were in bed having a cuddle this morning and she gave me the biggest cuddle and kiss and told me I was the best mummy and she loved me more than the world :D awwwwww it soon puts things into order. I need to stop worrying so much about money, i can't control everything, in fact the less i control it the more i notice it flows easily into my life. It's when i start getting uptight that i notice things get worse, worse and WoRsE!

I will get a reiki treatment on Saturday or Sunday anyway so that should help re-balance me a little :p

But anyway, yes, where was I??? Hmmmm s*d money -just for today anyway- there is plenty of that in the world, i've never had very much of it anyway lol ;)

    Right today:
*coffee morning round a friends house
    *nsd #3 :D
*raid my crystal box to find the crystals i need for my course at weekend.
    *tidy up
*check bank and shuffle money around (again!)
*catch up on here a bit...got so behind whilst i was awol that i can't catch up quick enough lol

Hope everyone is having a great day already :D

  • ahh thank you happy :)

Well i made a big boo-boo! My reiki course is friday & saturday! Not sat & sun! thank god i read the email again & properly  i am THE worst for skim reading and missing the whole actual POINT of what i am reading :o

NSD today :T number 3 now; need to add them all to sig still!

Can't do gym tomorrow as planned so will have to just do extra next week now :rotfl: (like that will happen)

Diet was going well until my friends bought me a cooked brekkie! I did say NO as really trying on diet lately :A but i gave in when they brought it over -although i shared with ds2 and he ate most of it :rotfl:

Dukie is doing well he's been on lots of walks with us so has been well socialised on the school runs with kids :rotfl: he's having a few problems with bigger dogs though. I think they call it 'little dog syndrome' *rolls eyes* he was certainly put into place earlier when he was barking and yapping away at a great dane (also a puppy- well 12 months old) she lifted her paw and with one swoop had duke pinned to the floor and she just looked at him as if to say 'don't do that!' did he learn, did he heck! He got back up and started doing it again!

Last night we had a brown Labrador come running over it scared the life out of me as it practically jumped on Duke so i grabbed him up and the owner gave ME attitude about the fact her dog wasn't doing anything wrong! It was off the lead and came bounding over growling (didn't seem like play body language to me!) and barking and practically snatched the poor pup out of my hands till he was called back! DH said i should have left duke on the floor and seen what happened but i have to admit i'm scared of big dogs after my mother was badly bitten by one of those dulux paint dogs (sorry no idea what breed it is called :rotfl:) and i thought it was going to eat him :eek:

Anyway so i have finally been defaulted and sent to a DCA on a debt that has been threatening since we started our dmp! Thank god now they can stop piling on the interest! I don't think they are too impressed about our change in circumstances and the fact we are paying less now though. We've had 2 creditors write and ask for another review :(! Will leave it till the end of the month though now as i have so many looking around the house and a few that have to get back to me still so you never know i may have a tenant by next month which would help greatly :)

Right i'm off i really could ramble for England! :D
