OMG you're going to be debt free in less than 1 month!!! That's actually amazing, kudos to you DFW :)
Love the meal plan, definitely going to check out the O/S board for ideas as planning veggie meals is something I find particularly taxing.

:o I intended on having 15 meals which were veggie. I failed miserably :o! I managed 5 :rotfl:oops! Unfortunately DH & DS1 are big meat eaters and when I asked them last time I did a meal plan about veggie they were all for it until i presented them with aubergine lasagne etc :rotfl: I might try again though soon. My meal plan whilst kind of healthy is very boring and same oldie! :o

Got myself a bit confused and copy and pasted pasta bake twice in one week (last week) :rotfl: and tuna pasta sweetcorn 2x in one week (3rd week) will swap one over so I have them both only once each week :p Can you tell not much thought goes into this :rotfl:

  • Morning, it's sunny here and also DH's last day before he goes back to work. He wants to do something, i'm hoping low cost as tenant still not paid the £225 and i've spent half of that already :o so I need to reign back abit :o ! Once I get her money it will go straight to my emergency fund to top up what's been 'borrowed' to buy the clothes I ordered yesterday! I felt so guilty after ordering it all I very nearly cancelled the order but in reality DS1's jeans are too short so he did need a new pair (he only gets 1 pair at a time because of how quick he's been growing lately so he hasn't anymore :o ) and I needed a raincoat & some shoes -I did an inventory of my shoes vs my DD's, I have a pair of wellies, flip flops & winter boots and a pair of heels so nothing for autumn (i hate hot feet, yes another weird fact about me lol) and DD has wellies, shoes, school shoes, plimsoles, more shoes, 2 x sparkly shoes, 4 pairs of play heels and a pair of winter boots. There is something wrong with this balance ! Especially as she will grow soon! Thankfully 70% of her foot wear was second hand or I might have been even more upset! This reminds me also I still need to get ds2's school shoes! I keep putting it off as I hate shoe shopping !

Anyway, washing is out to dry already, I need to go food shopping although I think DH is hoping for something a little more fun to do today. Soooo will report back later on where we ended up!

  • :j I'm back and lighter by £73 :eek: we had a nice lunch in a local pub (£65) (thought pubs were supposed to be cheap......£13 for my chicken & new potato meal  and that was one of the cheapest options!) :eek:was nice though :) Took the dog to a new local spot and had an hour's walk before the meal. DS2 didn't eat very much not sure if he's quite himself yet after this bug going round. He managed to eat the ice-cream nearly though at the local farm shop, they make the ice cream there from their goats milk :)

My energy levels are slowly resuming to normal levels, bl00dy hate feeling tired and achy all the time :(! I've got a banana and sultana loaf in the oven :) smells yummy! The 3 bananas were ready for the bin nearly so thought I had best use them up, i've been too wasteful over the summer and need to reign in food wastage which I hate! :o

After the big dinner the stew from the freezer has gone in the fridge and we'll have pizza & odds from the freezer I think.....

I've made an order from the kleeneze catalogue after spilling tea all over it :o felt bad as my friend has only just started the business and now she can't use the catalogue again! oops! I ordered hairdressing scissors which I've been meaning to buy for ages anyway so that's all good, was planning on getting them from ebay on payday so that saves me :) also got an oven mitt for no other reason than it was shabby chic and pretty and went with my kitchen :o. Roll on September I say :rotfl:

  • I've ordered some shampoos and conditioners in packs of three from amazonia to arrive end of September, also put some more agnus on order ;) and it told me if I subscribed to these orders I would save money so I did! Then I added two extra orders on it (toothpaste which isn't stocked locally so I usually order from them anyway) and I got 15% off the whole order :) feeling quite happy with these as I needed them all anyway and they've worked out much cheaper than I usually get them for!

Am now trying to source epsom salts, sea salts and glass jars cheaply but of good quality so I can make my own (and hopefully as gifts too...) bath salts :) I think I'll pay for these out of my pocket money though so I don't eat into the food budget! P.s food spends this month is £450 much better than last months failure eeh!!!
