  • Sounds like you've had a good day :D Love the description of the kids gardening and DH's reaction :rotfl:.

8 miles on a bike  For fun??!! Have to admit I can't ride a bike :o. As a kid my Mum could only afford a bike OR roller boots for me, so I chose the roller boots and never learned to ride a bike!

it's never too late to learn you know! Before DD & DS2 I would take DS1 for rides along the canals where we used to live. We'd go off all day and happily cycle 30-40 miles in the day and stop at pubs along the way for refreshments :) (of course these days I would be MSE and take a picnic rather than pub meals & drinks :o) i do miss biking though but it's hard with little ones and no money to buy equipment :o

  • Morning! Just a quick post from me as have to go out again soon....dog's had his jabs and i've bought 3 months of flea treatment, 6 months of worming stuff & some food for him  spends there were nearly £100  after i had it done a friend said I didn't really need the kennel cough thing which I was told I did so I might give it a miss next year at £16 a go it's not a huge amount but he never goes into kennels so am unsure if he needs it? (dog owners can you shed any light!?) huge spends though  they were all accounted for but still far too much money to part with :( ! His account is now very depleted as is my current account (where the gas & electric still haven't been taken out ?? )

Didn't get to get any wool the dog was driving me nutty jumping all over everyone and ds2 kept trying to shoplift a red dog ball (??) he's an oddball himself!

So may pop out again later just to get the hinge i need as cupboard door is very dangerous and is precariously hanging on for it's life at the moment!

Anyway off to get changed as I need the gym & some lunch! Catch you laters and will hopefully catch up on everyone properly then :)

oh no do you have spd? I had something similar but it was in my back instead of my pelvis and I could not move for the last 2 months of my last pregnancy without crying in pain. Was awful and made my decision on whether to have more kids much easier! Doctor's had no sympathy really and then blamed me on having 2 kids within 13 months on it (never mind blaming the husband or anything seemed it was all my fault and DH got a pat on the back. Pfft.) I hope you have baby on time and don't have to go over as that will just break you! (says she who went 12 days over and then spent another 2 days in hospital IN labour so was eventually by the time ds2 arrived 14 days over and they wondered why he was 9lb 7oz :eek:)

I was induced with last two pregnancies because of spd but this is so much worse than the last two on the strongest painkillers doctor will prescribe without me getting hospitalised which I'm refusing so far as I have two kids to look after and a partner who works full time xx

  • Evening diary & friends  (I don't have a wine smiley but that is what I am currently enjoying ;) )

Well today was a bit spendy! I bought some bits second hand for ds2 and also topped up fruit & veg & juice and I have bought 2 dvds (both second hand £4 for both and one is a brand new blu-ray :j ) I am picking the dvd's up tomorrow now and I will put the new one away for DH for father's day (I feel a bit of a pauper buying him something second hand but I know he will like the film so rather buy cheaper ;) )

I took dog for a walk this afternoon and he was exhausted after 20 mins, the sun really took it out of him poor thing. Am planning on going on a dog walk tomorrow but will see how hot it is first, he's clearly not enjoying walking in it!

Tomorrow should be a NSD or LSD. Can't think of anything I need and I want to spend as little as possible really

I'm just about to start knitting again, hoping to get a small blanket finished for DD for her birthday so best get a wriggle on really!
