Been to gym! Am avoiding shops even though I do need a few little bits such as a hinge for a door (random i know) and some other diy bits but i've waited nearly a month already so they can wait
Will finish banoffee pie off, grab a shower, sell the few bits that are being picked up :T and go collect the kids from school! Not sure what dinner is yet but am thinking pasta, tuna, sweetcorn and salad. Something nice and easyxx

Morning :j:j
Today i've already done my exercise so I get to relax this afternoon :T:j I decided to try the local bike riding group (it's free of course :money:) so I called up this morning and was told to just pop along :j I was the first one there so got my bike and got chatting to another lady who said the group is usually really quiet just her and the group leaders  they nearly closed it as funds weren't justified for 1 person! SO I counted as 2(kids don't count) and then all of a sudden 5 people turn up just as we were leaving  So we had a full group :T I think the sun must have got us all out of the wood work
One old lady who turned up though decided not to come she got on the bike and fell off and felt a bit unsteady which I thought was a shame, good on her for trying though
:) When we got back (8miles) there was an ice cream van giving out free ice-cream to serving soldiers and families :T so this morning was very MSE, a free bike ride followed by ice creams all round for nothing :money::j
DS2 has school soon and I might pop over to a friend who I keep putting off, not because I don't want to see her :rotfl: but because i've been stuck in waiting for people to pick up clothes all week and last week  so thought I ought to go see her before she gets a bee in her bonnet
I've said I will go back to the bike ride next week too so looking forward to itOn friday I have organised to meet a lady who does a dog walking group in the morning so another free morning out and whilst the sun shines I intend to make the most out of these free things :rotfl:;)
No washing on I only had half a load so it can wait. Should be a nsd again so bringing it up to 4/15 alreadyam feeling very :A and wondering how much longer I can keep it up
ETA: I used a bike trailer for ds2 for the first time and it was fab! I expected it to be really heavy but it wasn't so I am debating looking on ebay for a twin one now for dd & ds2 although need to check weight limit first!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Gardening with 3 and 4 yr old kids is not a good idea!! I've left them to it and they're happily digging holes all over my garden now argh. Hey DFW. What is it with kids and mud - oh and creepy crawlies too! Have you been brought any spiders, caterpillars, woodlice etc. to admire yet? DD2 currently has a thing about ants and keeps bringing them to me, asking if I think they're cute. Now I'm not keen on creatures of the crawly nature, but I do have some degree of sympathy for them, as the chance of them surviving an encounter with DD2's tightly clenched fist are slim to none.
Joking aside, I do think letting kids muck around in the garden is a fabulous thing - no matter what havoc and devastation they leave in their wake.

Abba! Long time no see! How is bump and when is it due :j:beer:
HB- kids were so mucky I couldn't tell mud from suntan:eek: I was scrubbing ds2 so hard that his poor little fingers were going pink (and he is never pink he has a dirty suntan colour all year round :rotfl:) The bugs in our garden they are most obsessed about is snails! They pick them up and carry them around and love to see them popping in and out of their 'houses' :rotfl: i don't mind them but when they are thrust into my eyeballs for close inspection then I get a little agitated ! DD is also keen on worms, picking them up with sticks and flinging them in the air and giggling! I gasp and shout 'nooooooooo, poor worm, don't do that' every time. And every time it seems to encourage her to giggle and do it even more. Earlier I was trying to get the weeds out of the flower beds and also tidy up the edges well you'd have thought I was doing something super duper exciting by the shrieks from the kids 'can we help' 'i can do that better than you' 'mummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy please let me help' I gave in in the end and left one child with scissors ( I don't have any secateurs, far too posh for me) and the other with a fork (i'd misplaced the garden fork) DH came home 10 mins later (of course) and looked like he was ready to call social on me himself! Seriously the only thing getting hurt was the grass and the dog does a good enough job on it anyway for their handy work not to be noticed!
Well tonight i'm watching tv, in jammies, with some knitting. Was going to friend's to paint furniture but she called it off for which i'm thankful as i wasn't really in the mood!
I've checked bank and realised why I have so much money, the gas/elec bill never came out  they're in the middle of switch over so i have transferred the money back out of the current account and put on hold in another one till i work out what they are doing! Bank now looks like it should. Empty.
Tomorrow is dog jabs, using my 10% discount in the pet shop (prob on food and a new dog comb oh and maybe some flea & worm stuff) also need to pop to the range or similar and get some more wool for knitting and then the post office so will be a busy morning! And not a no spend day (booo was beginning to like those) all spends were accounted for in budget though aside from the wool :T I've had a confirmation email from @mazon to say 1 spiderman and 1 ben 10 suit is enroute :T can't wait to see ds2 face on his birthday :T:TMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000.
