We are the guys that rightly or wrongly are lumbered with much of the legal stuff as we have some experience of it....

It's a good letter, it cannot do any harm, and will in all probability achieve the desired effect if that's to get them to clear off... if it doesn't, come back and I will help you to put the threat into practice. It's counterproductive to really use a solicitor as the claim will be "small claims" size and so you won't be able to claim his fees back; however it is a simple procedure for DIY.

Go ahead with it, I can see you are very keen to strike back at the twerps.

    HI GTFA!

WELL .... I SENT THE LETTER... and i have been sent a letter from DEPT RECOVERY LTD!

IF that isnt disgusting enough, they have bumped the 90 quid up to 150!!! LOL

    right what next!!!

haha im enjoying this lol x

    Hi Marky

i had the same situation and GTFA drafted me a letter not only to ukpc but also the landowner as they are jointly liable for hiring the goons. I to received a letter from zenith (same co as debt recovery plus) telling me to basically foxtrot oscar.Aviva the landowner in my case eventually got in touch with ukpc and miracle of miracle i had a letter from them cancelling my charge after reviewing the evidence again (same evidence which they dismissed six months previously).

    all the best
