I had someone out to do my massive rug today. It was £10 and it smelt like that 1001 carpet shampoo. i only needed the mat done so no point renting one.

We have used rug doctor and vax and the rug doctor was in a different league, brilliant results.

I did find it to be quite heavy.

We are in need of getting the carpets cleaned, I've been waiting for the kids to go back to school.

I am interested that people found getting someone in cheaper as I saw an advert for £50 just for down stairs so Rug doctor works out alot cheaper.

What prices are people paying to get someone in to do it?

Depends on the size of your rooms Dirt busters charge from £7.99 Per room in our area. im guessing there will be regional differences dependent how how many other companys offer the same services, lots down here with all the hotels & B&B.
