Yodel are dreadful, my sister ordered a power washer from Ideal Shopping channel, a great price, but when no-one was in, they left a card, to collect it from Antrim. My sis got in touch with them to rearrange delivery to her workplace. No they couldn't change the address, so she just told them to return it to Ideal shopping, and they haven't give her a refund yet, even though she never seen the washer. Such a terrible firm to deal with. Why should we travel miles to some shed to collect an item, which we have paid for delivery. I too, don't order from firms that use Yodel.

Royal Mail redeliver to a different address, surely their prime job is to get the product to the customer, and waiting for days for a parcel is not something most people have time for. Sorry you don't agree.

Well I guess you should use suppliers who do what you need.
RM will redeliver to a different address within the delivery offices delivery area only
Except Special Delivery items. What would you do then?
If you cant wait in then you collect, sorry you don't agree,

Sorry you don't agree.

Why do people feel that a commercial organisation should change their procedures after the event to suit them. People really need to stop and think - Will I be at home to accept delivery or do I need to make alternative arrangements when placing the order.

Yodel have a business model where they are paid to deliver an item to an address by a supplier, and they will return to that address if no one is at home the first time - why should they have additional administration, more expense and less profit just because your sister cannot plan properly?

I continue to applaud Yodel for their performance standards in delivering orders to my address.

Have you read the complaints from everyone. And when you read them, look at the number of people, who are not happy with the service. I think you both custardy and irishjohn should read them, and you will see that Yodel need to improve their service, not just for me, but for hundreds of people who will not use a company that uses them, and it goes on an on. Royal Mail, Citylink are both good companies. Enough said

Yes I have read them Pepper33 and I can only repeat, I have had two deliveries from them in the past 3 months, both delivered to the correct address on the day stated and early in the day. That is my personal experience.

I will not start to criticise a company because I cannot make arrangements to be there to accept delivery to the address I gave when ordering. It is just wrong to criticise a company because your sister failed to meet her responsibilities in the transaction agreement.

We recently ordered two packages from Zooplus, and have used Yodel delivery service. I've used this time and time again previously, with no problem...this time, however, they've gone above and beyond to screw the delivery up.

Try to deliver a parcel to Rochdale on 22/08...packages arrived at Middleton Service Centre on 20/08 (some 5-10 miles from delivery point), then driven to the Shaw Service Centre (<5 miles) with the revised delivery date of 30/08! I've now had emails to say the parcel has been delivered...it has, but to the Milton Keynes Service Centre. Bloody idiots. And we're still without our parcels.
Many thanks to everyone who posts, it is very much appreciated!
