What a shower of wasters. A joke of a company, Donkey and cart would be more efficient.

Waited in for a parcel from Sports Direct only to be informed that `Delivery attempted, call card left`. Total lies, was here all morning no-one called.

Anyone have a local number for the Carrickfergus outfit?

My experience with Yodel has always been positive - never any issues.

My last amazon delivery went by yodel. The tracking said that it was in the local depot and there had been one delivery attempt. I was leaving for a trip and it was already 4 days late. I called down to the depot and was told it was actually in an impounded van in England. :/ The staff I dealt with in the depot were lovely, extremely helpful and I couldnt fault them. The call center on the other hand, were awful!

Previously, a delivery was left in my rubbish bin and another left out in the rain, a meter away from a carport.

I'd make a joke about Yodel, but you probably wouldn't get it.

Last December, I noticed a couple of Yodel lorries on the motorway. So, I thought, at least some people will get their Christmas presents ... from 2012.

Despite the fact that the principal is responsible for the actions of their agents, I still use firms, like Amazon, who still use Yodel, when it's financially advantageous for me to do so.

However, if they ever actually used Yodel, I would ask them to change delivery firms or cancel the order.

In the unlikely event that anyone from Yodel ever manages to find my door, I would actually refuse the delivery.

I will not do business with this firm. The sooner that Yodel are out of business, the better it will be for everyone and the economy.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)
  • There is much hatred for this so called company sites like yodelhell.co.uk and facebook pages like facebook.com/wehateyodel are plentiful I personally now try and stay away from anyone that uses YODEL and make sure these companies know that is the case. sad but true

    I agree.

Last year we bought a little cheap hoover to put in the garage for cleaning out the car. It was only a tenner and I got it online from ASDA. when it hadn't arrived after 7 days I followed the Yodel tracking procedure to discover that, as far as they were concerned, it had been delivered.

I went through their complaints procedure and it was discovered that the hoover had been dispatched ok. The delivery note had been signed with the word "sausage". Yodel apologised to me and told me that a driver had been sacked. Whether or not this was indeed the case I have no way of knowing. ASDA refunded my tenner and gave me a £25 voucher by way of apology.

As we had no ASDA near us at that time (we have now) I went to Tesco and bought a similar hoover for a tenner.

What baffles me is why any delivery driver would do this and not think he would be caught. It certainly didn't reflect well on Yodel.

I had a terrible experience with Yodel recently, on an item ordered from Amazon. It was their Carrickfergus branch. I Googled them and came up with this.

I would never again knowingly use this company as a result of my experience with them. Unfortunately when you order items from Amazon and no doubt other companies, you have no control over which couriers they use. I e-mailed Amazon about these people and re-ordered my item. It was delivered 2 days later by Citylink Express. They were excellent.

That blog page is a shocking indictment of Yodel. How do they get it so wrong so many times? Ok I know all delivery companies will have problems and complaints but why are Yodel so obviously the worst?

More to the point: why don't they do something about it?

I should say that I have just taken an Amazon delivery at home for my daughter from Yodel. It was not apparently due until tomorrow, so they occasionally get it right.

In the interests of fairness I felt I should post this.
