Didn't get accepted for M&S card. Should I apply for citibank or barclaycard - am I more likely to be accepted for one of these?LBM 03/07 £44k:eek: DFD 31/12/17 :A 12/17 £2545.50

:j Ur having a great day Hope!!! Well done!
Re the CC, I'd leave it a month or so before u apply again, it may go against u if u apply for too many cards in quick succession (SP?)

Well done Hope that really made me smile.
I agree with Sarah though not to apply just yet for another credit card as it may look bad on your credit file. Have you ever looked at your credit rating by the way?0 -
Hey guys thanks for that. I hadn't checked my credit rating for a while so went on tonight it's 934 and says "excellent" but I think thats because I always pay and pay in plenty time. It's probably the amount I owe that got me a no. I'll wait a few months and evaluate again before applying.
Going to focus on keeping Xmas low cost and slicing my overdraft between now and then. That's what I'm using challenges money for (as well as a few things I've used some on already).
Also found another way of cutting a bit of money I spend on resources for work (feels a bit like thieving though) I never use school computers to print anything and hardly request photocopying (long story) instead i use my scanner and laser printer at home so if I use the school paper at home is that stealing? Would save me about £10 a month on paper.
Cheers

Well not technically as you are using it for school use but how would it look if you were caught taking it?
Can you not just use the resources at school which would not only save you the £10 per month but also lots of ink cartridges by the sound of it?
£10 per mth of your own money on paper :eek:0 -
In any other school I would use stuff there but we're not allowed to use photocopier and it takes about 3 weeks for secretary to do it which means everyone uses printers instead so there's seldom ink. But I would feel dreadful if caught. I might just ask my boss if I can take some for school use due tp issue with photocopying and see what she says.LBM 03/07 £44k:eek: DFD 31/12/17 :A 12/17 £2545.50

Sounds like a better idea to me, better safe than sorry. Maybe that way she might get the hint too that this issue needs to be addressed!
Good luck0
