Thank you Experian for ignoring my emails regarding compensation. There is a surprise! Even Equifax sent me £100!

You are in contact with my colleague Mark - we are not ignoring you. I understand that your credit report was updated within a few days of you contacting us, well within statutory timescales. Please contact Mark with any further issues you wish to raise. He has reviewed your contact with us to date and is in a postition to address any continued dissatisfaction you may have.

OP, so has the problem been resolved on your partner's credit files too? Only in your first post you stated that this all started because your partner was declined for credit which is why you got their credit file. then you found it was on your credit file too.

Have you both been sorted now?

  • Hi it has been resolved on the credit file yes thank god, and the credit issue is now sorted, I am just unhappy with how they allow this to happen to people without there being any consequences for the incorrect data, companies should be held liable and fined, it happens to too many people, and CRA's (Experian more than others) do not take quick enough steps to rectify the situation and protect consumer.

James Jones - I emailed you about compensation a few times after I had spoken with Mark and I had no replies from you, you had not replied to say contact him, you had just not responded at all.

I sent the one compensation email you sent to me on to Mark as he's dealing with the case. He will come back to you separately on that in due course.

I would go to ICO as clearly this has not been sorted, as for compensation no surprise really as customer service comes very low on experian's list of priorities apparantly
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
  • Its just UNREAL, the amount of sleep and stress this caused me the forst time, I think its all sorted and I saw it had all been removed, just for it to pop back up as linked on the 20/05/12, I just want to cry

OP, you need to go contact the Information Commissioner, I would also go to the Credit Services Association, they have been excellent in helping with my issues.

Also, go back to James Jones and it is easier said than done ( as I was a right panicky pete when all this was happening to me) but please try not to get upset and frightened as it isn't you, and it will get sorted, just keep on at them xx

  • I know, I know, im just not sure I got the stamina to deal with this again, it was so time consuming and stressful, I think I really need to consult for legal advice and let someone else deal with this on my behalf now, I have just emailed the ICO, copying in all the CRA's and BBC watchdog and Dominic Littlweood's team.

Its so wrong, what they are doing.
  • Thanks for the advice though guys
