We will review the case and if a good will gesture is appropropriate we will certainly look at that.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

  • Certainly a good will gesture would be appreciated after the poor customer service and you have my email address now from when I asked Mark to call. I certainly feel you could match Natwest. The customer service side was awful and I am happy to list what if you would like? But yourselves when it got to you sorted it immediately. However it took me searching for director details and calling them to get put in the right direction and that shouldn't have been required. Also the mix up was they could not locate a email, as they searched Natwest and it was sent from a RBS email. However they could have found it from the incident number Natwest were given which I gave to the customer service agent and they said it did not exist, however that's how Mark found it. Glad it will be sorted though
  • The most I saw off Experian was the refunding of the monthly payments I had made to view my credit report, and a years free subscription to credit expert, I think thats the least they can do.
'' Ok Marge, if anyone asks, you require 24-hour nursing care; Lisa's a clergyman; Maggie is seven people and Bart was wounded in Vietnam ''
  • Well I will happily let people know if Ezperian are willing to do anything in retrospect of this disaster I have encountered, and Thanks again to all that have helped me, but from reasing these forums this does seem like a issue that is not that uncommon which I find worrying

I had a nightmare cancelling my subscription with them, in the end I had the bank to cancel the recurring visa debit card subscription. And had do a chargeback of my funds, I canceled my service twice but both times the agent didn't do what they promised. Also getting an incorrect entry removed was labouerous to say the least, it involved ICO as nothing was done by them.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
  • It's a real shame that these issues aren't made a lot simpler to resolve as these issues are really damaging and seem very common
  • Had something similar happen to me recently. 2 different entries on my Equifax report similar name (the surname is different) and the same dob except the year is different. I had also not lived at said address EVER.

If the debt has been passed to a DCA contact them and ask them to check if it is a mistrace. I had to do this and they are both now being removed from my credit report :)
  • It's such a shame, there should be more consumer protection
  • Thank you Experian for ignoring my emails regarding compensation. There is a surprise! Even Equifax sent me £100!
