Good morning - lovely day in South Wales perfect for a nice spot of wombling!:D:j:D

I've been looking at the cakes in Mr T's trying to find the best ones to make up the 40p shortfall after the Galaxy cake bars, has anyone tried the value apple pies? They are 50p and the pic in the flop leaflet shows pies too so they should be ok ,I was wondering what they tasted like? or :)?

I know this is hit and miss it seems with asking for assistance on the SS so I'll be trying the cakes with some milk to cover the extra needed and keeping all my fingers crossed, I NEED more cakes!!!

I will report back after my wombling expedition!

    :D

hi we have had the value apple pies and they are fine maybe not as much appple as some but well worth the money and the kids have them in lunch boxes and warm with custard and seem happy with them and beleive me if they were bad some one would have told me by now

    Snap-ant

A big thank you for the post about the Portmerion. We stayed in a cottage at Easter and all of the tablewear was Portmerion. DH loved it. I have lovely memories of the weekend away, my dinner set is all plain white inexpensive stuff from the supermarket so I've jsut treated us to some bargain Portmerion.

    Thanks again

so annoying Mad  , as a word of caution to others the quiz might pop into upgrade mode at some point in the morning , it usually happens at around 10am (ish) and that will run your time up into days ...
