Good morning - lovely day in South Wales perfect for a nice spot of wombling!:D:j:D

I've been looking at the cakes in Mr T's trying to find the best ones to make up the 40p shortfall after the Galaxy cake bars, has anyone tried the value apple pies? They are 50p and the pic in the flop leaflet shows pies too so they should be ok ,I was wondering what they tasted like? or :)?

I know this is hit and miss it seems with asking for assistance on the SS so I'll be trying the cakes with some milk to cover the extra needed and keeping all my fingers crossed, I NEED more cakes!!!

I will report back after my wombling expedition!

    :D

    Have you tried ebay sniper?:D

    https://www.goofbay.com/free_ebay_sniper.html

you put the in the item number, how much you want to bid and how close to the end you want to bid!

you can bid with 2 seconds to go and it will automatically bid at this time for you, sit back and win hopefully!

    I've used it a few times, HTH:cool:

    ^^^^^^^
Just to add this is free too!!

well done to Boris last night!!:j

And good luck to Liverpool later!!

I'm not sure if this is still relevant or not as some of the US snipe programme companies had a security breach a while back .
When I looked into the possibility of using a snipe programme 2 years or so back (i bid a lot on US item and getting up at 4am was a killer etc ) they wanted me to divulge my e-Bay password , I know this might be needed to set my bids but I didn't like the thought of giving up a password .

I thought this so put it on then just changed my password when the auction was finished
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

apart from the snipe programmes that put in bids with 2 seconds to go .
what happens if 2 people have put a bid in with the same snipe program.
i am also uncomfortable with giving my details to a 3rd party, prefer to do it myself and then swear when i dont get it.:rotfl:
how many on here got outbid on happy's shoes by doing it too early. if i did not know better i would say they did not want to win them.:rotfl:
talking of happy, when is his ban up? it must be soon.:)

    Morning All :)

Smart1e, I haven't tried the value apple pies but I did buy Mr T normal apple pies at 67p a box, to make up the difference to go with galaxy cake bars, and they are really nice - as good as Mr Kipling I think :D

Also tried it with the Mr T everday value choc chip cake bars at 50p a box and these are also really good - total spend 80p for the 3 boxes of cakes :j:j

I've allways done it on a manned till along with a loaf or bread of something or similar so that my spend before the coupon is over £3 and it has gone through fine :)

I did find some nice wine glasses RTC in my metro yesterday, £4 down to 88p - bit random and don't really need them but as they were so cheap bought them anyway as spares for when we have people round.

Hope everyone has a good day :)
