Morning all! I guess the cake voucher is a hit or a miss as I had spent £38 on various bits and pieces but I had a girl who I think had just started (chose wrong till) called manager over and dissected my whole receipt!!!0

Does it still work as the password the snipe people have is not valid , just wondering .zippydooda wrote: »what happens if 2 people have put a bid in with the same snipe program.
i am also uncomfortable with giving my details to a 3rd party, prefer to do it myself and then swear when i dont get it.:rotfl:
how many on here got outbid on happy's shoes by doing it too early. if i did not know better i would say they did not want to win them.:rotfl:
talking of happy, when is his ban up? it must be soon.:)
I believe the person who set the highest snipe wins .I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -
Just bought the Daily M for the rail card offer ...then realised I didn't have to (or so I was informed) ...drat !!
I found out it was the FA Cup Final .
Not really bothered who wins as long as it's a good game with plenty of goals , a few sending offs and a pitch invasion (credit to N Hornby)I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -
Morning All
Smart1e, I haven't tried the value apple pies but I did buy Mr T normal apple pies at 67p a box, to make up the difference to go with galaxy cake bars, and they are really nice - as good as Mr Kipling I think
Also tried it with the Mr T everday value choc chip cake bars at 50p a box and these are also really good - total spend 80p for the 3 boxes of cakes :j:j
I've allways done it on a manned till along with a loaf or bread of something or similar so that my spend before the coupon is over £3 and it has gone through fine
I did find some nice wine glasses RTC in my metro yesterday, £4 down to 88p - bit random and don't really need them but as they were so cheap bought them anyway as spares for when we have people round.
Hope everyone has a good day
Thank you Brazer:beer:
I think the key by the sound of it is a bit more shopping than just 2 boxes galaxy cakes and a cheap box of cakes!
Blimey this is hard work!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
But I'll get more cakes!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

Do we think Asda's receipts are more productive than Mr T's a lot of the time?Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

Found the Gro Clock for £7.48, normal white label but because i was after one anyway i knew how much these cost but would never pay that price. Got the last 2 last night but dont know if they will restock (5t R0110x)My store doesn't stock these or the Gro Eggs
I've been wanting them both for ages but don't want to pay full whack for them.
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0 -

Morning all
Sun was shining when I got up this morning but seems to have been swallowed by cloud
Have already been into town this morning, banked a cheque and popped to superdrug on my way round....10p items were heart shaped bath bomb type things, tube of lavender hand cream and nail file, and tube of rose hand cream and nail file. 20 boxes all safely stashed away for christmas and birthdays :j:j
On the downside, the result of my dad's hospital appointment yesterday means that he is likely to lose his jobIts picked up a heart condition which will need medication, and a recommendation that he should be under the care of a cardiologist. When his heart rate shoots up under stress, he goes into ventricular tachycardia. I feel so helpless that I cant do anything. He's 63 so its not going to be easy for him to find another job at that age
Hopefully the medication they've recommended will make a difference for him but the DVLA probably arent going to see it that way. I told him that he neednt worry about it until he goes back to work next week, and to have a chat with his gp and see what he says about it all.
Its sooooo nice having the house and car to myself. Might have to get rid of Misery Guts more often :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
