Do we think Asda's receipts are more productive than Mr T's a lot of the time?

I get more back from A ones

HI everyone. Can I come and play? I've been lurking for a little while but think its time that I came out of the closet!
I love a bargain and particularly enjoy asdas whoopsies but decided yesterday to give tesco a bashing.
I failed on my first attempt trying to buy galaxy bars and mini rolls at the S/S tills. The BOGOF discount came off before the £1 voucher kicked in. I got all flustered when the SA came over and had To go off with my tail between my legs. I did my main shopping there last night and all my vouchers went through. I took lots of advice from you and hope I'll be able togivesomething back in due course. My local store is D**h*m. Anyone else local? x

 Hi TrulyMadly - welcome - I am a little further south in D@rl0

    Morning all

Sun was shining when I got up this morning but seems to have been swallowed by cloud

Have already been into town this morning, banked a cheque and popped to superdrug on my way round....10p items were heart shaped bath bomb type things, tube of lavender hand cream and nail file, and tube of rose hand cream and nail file. 20 boxes all safely stashed away for christmas and birthdays :j:j

On the downside, the result of my dad's hospital appointment yesterday means that he is likely to lose his job :( Its picked up a heart condition which will need medication, and a recommendation that he should be under the care of a cardiologist. When his heart rate shoots up under stress, he goes into ventricular tachycardia. I feel so helpless that I cant do anything. He's 63 so its not going to be easy for him to find another job at that age :( Hopefully the medication they've recommended will make a difference for him but the DVLA probably arent going to see it that way. I told him that he neednt worry about it until he goes back to work next week, and to have a chat with his gp and see what he says about it all.

Its sooooo nice having the house and car to myself. Might have to get rid of Misery Guts more often :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

hugs to you qoc thanks for the tip for supadrug i got these moisturisers for 10p a while back but no nail file.
i'm feeling sorry for your Dad as this can be quite a frightening condition, especially when they feel the palpitations, the good thing now is that it has been diagnosed and can be treated and monitored by the specialist. The condition is quite common actually and many people go on to lead normal lifes once treated. so keep your chin up and know that your Dad is in good hands. take care hun your a wee trooper xxx
