I found one paid of these tonight in small superstore, right barcode but they scanned at £2. So glad I checked them beforehand. Found 2 pairs yesterday in a different store and they scanned at 4p.

Evening all! I've been so rubbish with posting and thanking this week -sorry :o

Just wondered if anyone has scanned Lindt mini eggs recently? Went to my local express for whoopsied bread tonight and there was a clipstrip lying on the floor in front of the tills. Looked like staff had pulled it down maybe to relocate them elsewhere. Wondered if this was a sign of price change?!

My local extra has stickered over original barcodes of any Easter products in the clearance section so no chance of turning them into 1ps.

Scanned a few pairs of SS10 socks and a pair of walking socks but all normal price :(

    Off to read back :)

My OH has never called his dad, "Dad" always Ozzie from a young age so thats how we decided to do his flowers from us.

Hugs and kisses to all that need them - and it feels great to be back xxx
Bensons mum - Your post was lovely to read (if you know what I mean). It sounds like a lovely send off for your FIL, a real celebration of his life, full of his likes and stories about him. And I think your flower arrangements were stunning. You should be very proud of yourself for doing them, for handling the last few months and also for being a support to your husband (as well as breaking up the fight!) Big ((hugs)) to you xx

Happy Birthday 18th Birthday West is Best's DD. :)

and Birthday wishes to Motherbear's DD too. :)

Glad to hear the rain has stopped Bubbs hope you are back home soon.

Mymerrywidow I hope your toe is sorted sooner rather than later, sounds very painful. :(

Nikki did you not manage any purple ones....tights that is. ;) I managed to join the sock club too last night. I actually made a late night trip to Ts as you do (just like Fudge_cake). I did go before I started on the celebratory wine that OH had opened while I was at another Ts earlier. :o Anyway found last couple pairs but OH will have to squeeze into them as 6 to 8.5. Big thanks Miss Laid :T

Just to let my local MSE friends know, just saw a couple pairs red tights at TP, no socks at all and I had the last from FB. Have not investigated today yet, might go and look for the magic tights and trainer socks. Both would be a great find for this house. ;)

Mum is in a bit more pain after radiotherapy yesterday and she had her visit to the pain relief doctor at the hospice today which went well, doc does not want to increase morphine so is increasing gabapentin which is good for nerve pain. Has been suggested methadone might work well but if you had seen mums face you could see the answer was no. Especially as she was told she would have to go in for 9 to 10 days to try it, I think she thinks we are trying to have her put in somewhere with all the visits lately. Hope she is well enough to go to the day hospice on friday for a bit of company after all the persuading to get her to try it.

    Big hugs to you

    Big hugs

Bensonsmum - I understand completely what you have said about having a funeral plan or insurance policy, my mum had a prepaid funeral plan and it was such a relief that not only was the biggest expenses of the funeral covered but we didn't need to organise the details as she had done that already.
Your flowers were beautiful, and we very rarely have any sort of big family occasion without there being a bit of a row, my mum's wake went off ok but I fell out with my brother the following day, lol - so delayed reaction there.
