Hope your feeling better soon Rose28454 my DH had a bout of this a few years ago so he now has weetabix either morning or night time for some extra fibre in his diet and eats more fruit he especially likes dates. Looking at all the cakes on here reminds me I have promised grandson a Batman cake for his birthday beginning of May but Iv not a clue where to start, probably will go along the lines of black fondant icing and a big yellow Batman logo, any suggestions welcome!!

She did suggest a pink sling but there wasn't enough time to source one! A friends DD got married a couple of years ago and one of her BM's had the pink glittery cast as well! One of her friends also had a pink glittery leg cast on! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:On a serious note, Miss Lala, did you do Nanny's hoovering, cooking, washing and ironing when she broke her wrist or did you just take her out as a fashion accessory? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I took her out on a daily basis to T's;) but she did come and stay with me (I was a good girl:)) But she broke it the day before we were moving work premises and I was trying to get everything organised, phones moved, insurances sorted, computers moved and I was the only one that knew what was going on:eek: Luckily I was on 5 minutes away from the hospital so kept popping back in between the two. It's role reversal now, shes been cutting up my dinner like I did hers last year;):rotfl:

well everyone is joining the colonoscopy club today. i did have a colonic irrigation last year so am i a mini member?!! - I've always wanted to have it done (i know, i know, strange) so me and a friend plucked up the courage and went. Without going into too much detail, it was alright but I don't think I'll do it again. Was fascinated about what would come out of the "tube" more than anything :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry if I've put you all off your biccies/thoughts of dinner. !!

Thanks to all for your good wishes. Just having a cuppa and biscuits and some tv. I need to get organised tommorow to get some palmolive as I now have the voucher. Am I right in thinking Sainsbury is cheapest at 87p 1.00 at Asda and 1.73 at Mr T but it price matches. Was thinking of getting a few as I am off to London for 1 month Mid May to work on the Jubilee concert. My sis has the catering contract to feed all the crew setting it up and the artists on the day. Over 10,000 meal to be served over that period. Shame is no Mr T for a month for me. How will I manage. So must get some in before then. Thanks again

Hi guys - im heading out tonight - haven't been to tesco in ages due to work and family comitments but have planned my shop with using the price flops - but I fancy some of those choc bloks too lol
So am I right in saying if I spend over £50 and spend over £20 on frozen food ( including 4 packs off above ) I can hand over 2 price flops for frozen food and still use my £7 off £50 ? thanks in advance - im not really a coupon person - so am such a chicken!

P.s The cakes are fab ! Really professional !

My DD's cake looks more like a welsh cake by that.... wow... I love it xxx

:rotfl::rotfl: Don't put your's down, it's looking really good so far, I think the black will set it off really well. When will it be finished?! I want to see it!!!

Thank you too Tiger, I was really chuffed with it. Took my MIL weeks to do all of the petals etc, and I'd say it probably cost her a small fortune, but I will be eternally grateful to her!!

Just back from hospital and resting on the settee. i had a colonoscopy and it was quite painful. they diagnosed diverticular disease which should improve if i eat more fibre and fruit. I feel much better now as I thought it was more serious. However no mrT today for me.

a super source of fibre , try to purchase the husks not the capsules .

I can imagine anyone being more than happy with that honey... she must be a very clever woman.. Absolutely stunning...
  • Well I think I'm gonna go hit the road. Got a couple of T's, Sainsbobs and asda to poke around over the next few hours. Besides which the glue on this chair is beginning to come unstuck so I have no excuse for staying in it any longer...........although actually going back to bed sounds quite appealing. Still shattered. :(

Catch y'all later....will try and roving report while I'm out if I see anything good.
