:eek: Oh my god...This saying springs to mind:

    Something old - your finger...
Something new - nothing as you didn't take your finger into A&E
    Something borrowed - the sling
Something [STRIKE]blue[/STRIKE] red - lots of blood

She did suggest a pink sling but there wasn't enough time to source one! A friends DD got married a couple of years ago and one of her BM's had the pink glittery cast as well! One of her friends also had a pink glittery leg cast on! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:On a serious note, Miss Lala, did you do Nanny's hoovering, cooking, washing and ironing when she broke her wrist or did you just take her out as a fashion accessory? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Good afternoon everyone.

I dont know if any of you can help but hubby and I are going away for four days to Scotland. Done of course in the Money expert way. Flying with Easy Jet £29 one way and £19 coming back and free accomodation re Premier Inn through our daughter. She had four days that she had to use by the end of April and they were just going spare so we couldn't have that could we?
Our question is that we have never been to Scotland before and wondered if any of you could tell us of interesting places to visit or where is good to eat!
We are flying to Glasgow and hiring a car. So first night Glasgow second night Dumbarton, third night Fort William and our last night Inverness. We drop the car off at Inverness airport and fly home on the Monday.

Sorry this is such a long post.
    Hope all are well.
    Thanks

Are you staying at the premier inn st george's square glasgow, it's lovely we stayed there earlier this year..Take a walk along George street in to town for Pubs/bars/shopping or down Montrose street towartd the Clyde for restaurants...I can Heartily recommend Rab Ha's for eats/drinks , 2 course al la carte for £15, some of the best food i've tasted!:D

Enjoy your trip and don't forget a wee trip to Ibrox to complete your stay!!

There's plenty to see in Glasgow, just depends what your interests are. What I would suggest is.... As you're driving from Glasgow to Fort William, stop at the Drover's Inn at Inverarnon(top end of Loch Lomond) for lunch or a drink. It's an old inn absolutely packed with character and the food is good too.
Also if you like walking and the weather is good when in Fort William, drive up Glen Nevis as far as you can go and park in the car park there. There is path leading from the car park to the Steall waterfall. The view is terrific and there is a rope bridge across the river... good for a laugh if you fancy trying it.:rotfl:

I hear those colonoscopy things can be a right pain in the bum...........ok, ok I'll grab me coat! :D
well everyone is joining the colonoscopy club today. i did have a colonic irrigation last year so am i a mini member?!! - I've always wanted to have it done (i know, i know, strange) so me and a friend plucked up the courage and went. Without going into too much detail, it was alright but I don't think I'll do it again. Was fascinated about what would come out of the "tube" more than anything :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry if I've put you all off your biccies/thoughts of dinner. !!

Didn't someone talk about these a month ago on here and the "dark side" - and did they have a MOC coupon inside?. (Think I've answered my own Q, it was Finish and loads of people went to A on the hunt for them.) Well done P2TKL, fab price for them. :T

missy moo, love the cake piccies.
