Thank you for the lovely new thread, which I need to read and catch up on ......... after I have been to Ts to look for the cheese, so my fingers are crossed
Got 2 packs of Plenty from Morries yesterday and used 2 50p coupons
Hope everyone enjoying the day so far and finding bargains and glitches
By the way, I'm still looking for a friend of mine who is buying the Ts kitchen knives, got mine and going to bin my spare coupons if she doesn't catch me first
See you all laterThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
That sounds exactly like my DD1!
On her first wedding day, I was making some sandwiches for when my MIL arrived before the ceremony. Unfortunately I cut my thumb when I was slicing the cheese. It was bleeding so much that I had to go to A&E. When I arrived, I told them that my DD was getting married in 2 hours time and luckily (and with the agreement of those waiting already) they saw me straight away. I was more or less fine until the doctor asked me for the bit that I'd sliced off, so that he could sew it back on again.:eek: I hadn't even realised that I'd sliced any off! He did 'whatever', bound it up, put my arm in a sling and told me to keep my hand elevated at all times. I was back home within an hour. Got to the church ok but had to get someone to hold my hand up behind my back for all of the photos, as DD1 didn't want anything to spoil her pics! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
OMG:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:Noooo that's awful, but I do agree on keeping the arm out of the way for the piccies;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Actually no I'd had just made sure you had a colour co- ordinated sling. When Nannylala broke her wrist last year I made her have a pink cast with glitter on it(Like the ones they do for children):rotfl::rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Something old - your finger...
Something new - nothing as you didn't take your finger into A&E
Something borrowed - the sling
Something [STRIKE]blue[/STRIKE] red - lots of bloodTiger

Just back from hospital and resting on the settee. i had a colonoscopy and it was quite painful. they diagnosed diverticular disease which should improve if i eat more fibre and fruit. I feel much better now as I thought it was more serious. However no mrT today for me.
Im another thats been there, not the best experiences in the world but its over now.. Plenty of rest is the order of the day, give it 24 hours and you'll be back to normal..Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -

She did suggest a pink sling but there wasn't enough time to source one! A friends DD got married a couple of years ago and one of her BM's had the pink glittery cast as well! One of her friends also had a pink glittery leg cast on! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:On a serious note, Miss Lala, did you do Nanny's hoovering, cooking, washing and ironing when she broke her wrist or did you just take her out as a fashion accessory? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
