You're doing a splendid job, I'm sure it will taste lovely after all that brandy infusion and just have a little bit of confidence in yourself. The flowers are beautiful and I would love to see a picture when its finished. No doubt I will be giving you 10/10:T
    P.S what's the black for?

I hope she's paying you well.... I would if you were here doing this for me!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Dont you work too hard for her!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The black is for the leaves, I know its sounds yucky.... but she's wearing a black dress for the party.. so I was planning on putting just a few black leaves and some black ribbon embedded in the sides of the cake, like its going through the icing and out the other sort of thing!!!!!

Just back from hospital and resting on the settee. i had a colonoscopy and it was quite painful. they diagnosed diverticular disease which should improve if i eat more fibre and fruit. I feel much better now as I thought it was more serious. However no mrT today for me.

    That worked well! :D

With Nikki on this one; well done to all the new non-smokers.

    Talking of saving money:

Last cigarette smoked was: Two months, three weeks, five days, 17 hours, 14 minutes and 14 seconds.

    1734 cigarettes not smoked, saving £572.06. :j:j

Life saved: 6 days, 30 minutes.

    Keep it up, all.

    Good afternoon everyone.

I dont know if any of you can help but hubby and I are going away for four days to Scotland. Done of course in the Money expert way. Flying with Easy Jet £29 one way and £19 coming back and free accomodation re Premier Inn through our daughter. She had four days that she had to use by the end of April and they were just going spare so we couldn't have that could we?
Our question is that we have never been to Scotland before and wondered if any of you could tell us of interesting places to visit or where is good to eat!
We are flying to Glasgow and hiring a car. So first night Glasgow second night Dumbarton, third night Fort William and our last night Inverness. We drop the car off at Inverness airport and fly home on the Monday.

Sorry this is such a long post.
    Hope all are well.
    Thanks

When you go from Dumbarton to Fort William, you will drive through Glencoe - beautiful!! Then from Fort William to Inverness will be Loch Ness. It is a lovely drive up the West Coast. Not sure about stuff to do as we just kind of wandered about for a while. You can do a Jacobite Cruise down Loch Ness from Inverness http://www.jacobite.co.uk/ Not far out of Inverness is Fort George which could be worth a visit. http://www.historic-scotland.gov.uk/propertyresults/propertyoverview.htm?PropID=PL_136&PropName=Fort%20George

    HTH

    Have a lovely time x
