My GP told me if you had a higher BMI you had to have the implant changed every 2 years instead of 3. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Are you kidding? How can a condom be incorrectly used, let me count the ways...
Unless I was the only clueless teenager who kept pinging them across the room, breaking them with my nails, not pulling them down far enough so they slip off, not being careful enough on the way out etc etc etc.
Its a wonder I got through school without a small brood to be honest!

Are they though?
I only left school in 2001 and we were taught the mechanics but nothing at all about safe sex. They handed out some free condoms in sixth form and that was the extent of it. I educated myself, I had to, but some of my friends still had serious misconceptions and funny ideas well into their twenties.0 -

All the injection does is increase your appetite a tiny bit, weight gain isn't inevitable. I put on about a stone but I also gave up my gym membership and went from an active to a sedentary job in that time!
Going on depo was one of the best things I've ever done. Its cured my migraines, no more periods, no babies!0 -

Interestingly, its not the most effective method.
Men can still be fertile for a short time afterwards so they tell you to use other protection for a while after the op. I think its also possible for the tied off tubes to heal and reconnect, even after years, although its rare.0 -

It IS rare but it did happen to a friend of mine some 7 years after the original *all clear*. Wasn't plain sailing for them & their relationship did go through the mill, but the tests did finally prove it was possible. Their daughter is now 2.
As to the poster who says it's not possible to have an accidental baby......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: As someone who's coil came out embedded in the placenta when my 9 year old was born......I'd seriously question that.:DAutism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -
What a shame this thread has degenerated in this way. Wouldn't this conversation be better held in the money savers arms?
I actually feel sorry for the OP, and would you post on this thread, after reading some of the replies?Fred - Where's your get up and go?
Barney - It just got up and went.

Not sure about the 6 week thing on B&B accommodation.
When I was homeless I was in one for 14 weeks!
Just think of it this way - a roof over your heads is better than no roof at all.:)
Why are his parents throwing you out, may I ask? Is it because the relationship has broken down or as a way to get your own place? I'm not judging, just genuinely curious.
I just find it sad that the parents of the father of your child would throw out a woman who is heavily pregnant.:(
Sorry if all this has been said. Brain fog means that I don't have the concentration level to be able to read through all the other 6 pages.:(2019 Wins
