    Morning all!

We missed the eclipse - we were slumped on the sofa half asleep after a hard day's work on the house! My bath room has never looked as empty or as clean, so now I've just got to make sure it stays that way until Friday. We've also emptied our stuff from our garden - chimenea (sp?), table and chairs, a bench, and a few little gargoyle type ornaments. Our wicker obelisk fell apart when we picked it up so we're going to tie it up and 'replant' it in case the next lady would like it, as we're taking the bird table and that gave the garden some height.

Today we're going to Aldi for some garden bargains, then to my mums to drop off the houseplants for safe keeping while we move, and to see my nephew before he goes in for his op. Then home again for Isaac to have a nap and us to get on with the packing again. It's getting there though!

We might have takeaway tonight...we deserve it and it means less work - and we can start packing crockery.

Hope you all have a good day, and hugs to those that need them. :)

    Morning all.

Back to earth with a bump today. Just sorted out washing etc.

Yesterday was my birthday so DH did all the washing up, dressing kids etc

Then we all went to Wagamama for lunch (kids love it and we had a BOGOF voucher)

all in all a good time.

Moggins - sad to hear of your news. But listen to Donnygal and others. Just cos DH is the one out in the workplace doesn't mean he's the only one working/earning. You earn your part of that money and in my opinioin have as much right to spending it. And if you have the house organised, well that's your job and he has to fit in with you. That's not controlling, its organisation

    Morning all,

Well, yesterday I had the urge to clean, but by the time I'ld come home I was tired, so had a snooze and it didn't get done. Now its raining today, I don't feel like doing it anymore :)

I almost saw the lunar eclipse - Just as it was about to fully eclipse...loads of cloud blew over!!

Hm, today I want to do all the things I said I would do yesterday but didn't. OH wants the computer for a while, so I will need to keep myself occupied somehow.

Oh and I caused a bit of havoc in Tesco yesterday - whilst rummaging around in the bargain section, I managed to get my necklace stuck in the grill at the bottom of the fridge!!! Caused quite a ruckus, with people trampling over me to get to the bargains, and other people stopping to help me - I had quite a crowd in the end.

Right, off to make OH his Sunday fry-up

Breakfast: Fry up for him, cereal for me
    Lunch: Soup
Dinner: Remains of last nights stir fry
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment

    Morning!

Loads to do today but only got up 15 mins ago! Thought id be up much earlier as i had an early night... Got a feeling this day is gonna fly past.. then again sundays always do cos its my day off work!

Dads coming later to finish clearing some stuff to the tip that wouldnt fit in the skip they got yesterday. (the old bathroom and kitchen etc that was ripped out and put out in the back garden) Probably going to jump a lift with them to sainsburys too.. as know they are going today and i need a few bits. Most of its fruit and veg but the greengrocers isnt open on a sunday :(:( But suppose i'll maybe get extra "active kids vouchers" for buying fruit'n'veg and as im the one in charge of collecting them for our scout group - i should set a good example by shopping in sainsburys - although asda would probably be cheaper and is closer!!

First day yesterday since ex-OH and i have NOT seen or spoken on the phone/text each other. Feels really weird!! Even since we broke up and i moved out we have still seen each other each day or spoken on the phone 4-5 times. :o Know it shouldnt bother me but i i feel really lost without him.. as apart from my mum hes the only person who speaks to me properly as i dont get on with anyone in work and dont have any friends of my own :o

Oh well.. mustnt dwell anymore as i can fell myself welling up.. up and at em and onwards and upwards and all that malarky!

    have a good day everyone!

It's been playing up for a few days. Or maybe it's just taken a dislike to me!!!
