OS Daily Sun 4th March

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for sun 4th march. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Forgot to say yesterday while in pizza hut yesterday, when the order came ds1's pizza was missing his sweetcorn topping off his pizza, we said this was ok as ds1 wasnt too bothered but they brought out another kids pizza with the sweetcorn on and we got it free:T reat service from pizza hut there:D

Have mil and sil coming up in afternoon and staying for tea, we have brisket out to do in sc, sil has lost her job and is down in the dumps, she hasnt seen the boys in ages so think that will cheer her up a bit.

Morning all. What a crappy day again. Lots of wind and rain and lots more to come. Can't get out fishing, so not very happy.....
Still I am working this afternoon, so not really that bothered about the rain.

Got woken up by DD early so coffee is on the go! others are still in bed!

Saw the Lunar Eclipse last nite and then after a few glasses of red wine promptly fell asleep on the sofa! (lightweight eh?) So I dont know who went out on Fame Academy and Dancing on Ice:o

Plans for today are finish DS birthday cake ready for tomorrow. Sort out some things from the Loft see if anything can be sold/got rid of. oh yes and the ironing!:o

Looks cold and wet outside,but still have to go to ds1 away footy match, it was canceled at our home ground as pitch waterlogged so KINDLY!!! the other team have said we can play at their ground.:rolleyes:
But it is the quarter final of the local cup!! So finggers crossed i will be able to report a place in the semis later.:D
Having pork with musrooms and onions done in slow cooker today for dinner, and dd is at a party later, she wants me to leave her there but think i will stay as she has never been to this place before and she acts so shy around other people,wish she was like that at home!!

Hello everyone... im back from my holls.. had a great time. Swimming with the Manatees was wonderful, i will post some pics for you all to see this week. i have megga jet lag !!! and megga omg look at all the washing ect depression !!!!
i hope you all are well. i watched the eclips last night as im still on American time, it was great and could see it clearly, took some photos as well.

i saw the eclipse last night too it was a clear sky wouldnt have seen it if ds2 hadnt wakened me up
its frosty here but should be a sunny day like yesterday, i got both cars washed and had a nice walk with fdil

Morning Guys!

OH & I had a lovely meal last night and seems very quiet and strange here this morning with no DD. She has text to say she watched the eclipse last night and that she slept well. She's being dropped off later around 2pm:j :beer: :rotfl:

WM is on, DW has been emptied and toilet cleaned. Plans for this morning is to do some reading of my course as I have a timed essay due in by Tuesday and my laptop is 70 miles away:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: ...think I may give tutor a call to see if I can have an extension, but with it being a fairly important essay...this may not be possible

OH is going to get the papers soon and will put a fresh coffee on...havent had a Sunday like this in ages:D ...plus we are going out for our Roast at Nephews later....lovely Sunday I think.

Anyway, hope everyone is ok.

Not been around much.

DS burst his ear drum on monday and has been really ill.

I finished work on Friday so i should be around a bit more.

Need to do loads today as i am behind having to cuddle DS 24-7

going to do cooking with the children to as bking supplies are 0.

Hi everyone

First time I have posted on the daily thread!

We are having a tidying family day today (calling it that so my twin girls get excited and want to help!).

We are all going outside (hope the weather brightens up) and we are tidying the garden - cleaning the playhouse, picking up sticks, leaves etc and tidying the shed my husband has taken over (he thinks its tidy but I know otherwise!!).

We have already pulled some shrubs out of one part of the garden ready for my vegetable patch I am starting. DD's are excited to help mummy 'grow things'. Should be interesting as I haven't a clue what I'm doing!

Having a family meal late this afternoon, but have got to try and reduce how much we are spending on food. Had a takeaway last night - last one for a while. Serious shortage of money. We have only been in our new house since last Summer and there is a lot of work to do, which is difficult as we have run out of money!

Aime - Sounds like you had a great holiday:)

Up fairly early this morning....rain due in Bognor today methinks:( so washing will be going on airer. A loaf in the BM this morning. A tower of ironing to get through which i might begin to tackle after another cuppa:D

I thought i might make some baby quiches for lunch boxes this week so will crack on with that later today.

hmmm, lunch.....anything that needs using up in the fridge. Tea might be chilli.

Nothing else planned for today. A lazy one i think. Trying to get organised for DD birthday next week, she will be 3. I have already bought her presents thank goodness.
