Have been without a computer since Friday morning. It seems to have come down with an awful virus. This was morning after I couldn't get on MSE forums on thursday night. I do hope there isn't a connection?

It'll have to go away to my friends to hopefully sort tomorrow. I feel lost without it and my spreadsheets. Luckily had a 6 week old copy on works laptop - so have been discretely updating it this morning.

DD2 had a great birthday weekend, firstly sleepover at best friends party who shares her birthday and then her chocolate party, including a giant chocolate cupcake, chocolate games and a chocolate fountain. Great fun had - hope no-one was sick last night though!!

Very little money left in current account to last the week until the end of month - think most of second job money will have to stay there this week.:(

  • We all have tight months when the current account develops a leak, but its pay day again soon and the renewed challenge can then begin.

    PS Chocolate party sounds great...

Second job payday today - have transferred £75 into log burner fund & £50 into DD2s trip fund.

Only able to do as I worked out that October has 2 payments of CHB in it - due in on Monday.

Have decided to actually go to *sda this week, but as freezer is full hopefully won't spend too much. Need to write a menu plan tonight and then a shopping list.

Still without home laptop :( - hopefully friend will have fixed it and bring it back on Sat when they come over for dinner, when he's also supposed to be doing something to the sky box to connect it to the internet.

Reached payout on VO so *rgos voucher on its way which will be OPd when it arrives.:)

Other than that not a lot of MFW going on until payday next Monday.

Reached payout on Pbase - £11.25 to OPd when it arrives in bank, also S&S reached target - will claim £10 voucher when it clears.

Food shopping came to £68, + £44 chinese takeaway for friends - DH had his own way today - but it was delicious. No excess paid to holiday clothes pot though:(. Back to online shopping next week - I only buy what I need then.

:)Aaahhhh (that was me settling back) - I have my laptop back - so much nicer working on my own!!! And fixed for free by friend.:T
Made Delias chocolate bread pudding as recommended by Tilly, with homemade leftover bread - you're right it was scrummy. Also Mary Berry's Treacle Tart with homemade breadcrumbs. Even got the lattice correct. Got to use the leftovers!!!

    :jPayday today - Yay!!!:j

£300 OPd to mortgage, £175 to holiday fund.

Have knocked another month off - now October 2031:T £200 needed for next month off, although offset interest should account for about £90 off this hopefully, also waiting for £61.25 in survey earnings.

To keep up with target of cutting a 20year mortgage down to 10 I need to knock off a month every month. On target so far - 7months off in 6months since 20/04/12:T

    Thank you MCI & TwinnyD

Have just claimed another *rgos voucher from S&S.

Am hoping to knock another 3 months off before end of year, making it 10months off in 8 and way over target.

Off to join party at Tillys place. Anyone coming...
