iphone 4s or samsung galaxy note?

  • Interesting chat at work okay with non-techy fiends. One wanted a note to save her putting her specs on, another has just ordered one on upgrade thinking one phablet replaces her iPhone and saves her needing to get a tabet (and she says the pen is a bonus). I didn't think anyone would even have heard of the note.

I'm with the lady who doesn't want to put her specs on! There seem to be quite a few ladies interested in the Note - I think it's size is less of an issue with us as we have a handbag and don't have to find a pocket to put it in.

I went from the Nokia x6 to an iPhone 4

The iPhone was the only phone for me, had it for a year now and love it :-)
Ive seen plenty of tablets around including those friends have and thier all tiny!!!

So will have to say I have the iPad too lol

But my iPhone can do everything I need while on the move, I even have pages on it do if I have something I'd like to write for a uni assignment I can start on there till I can get to a computer to carry on :-)

    Expensive iphone or phablet?

The new One S is a very good phone without being too over the top.

Otherwise the Nokia Lumia windows phone is a very worthwhile alternative to the iPhone if android's a bit too techy/geeky.

My partner was in the market for a new phone and also a tablet, as she's keen to get into tablet-based art. Then she saw the Note and decided to get one and is very please with it so far. Personally I think I'd find it too big to carry as a phone, but it doesn't bother her and because she carries it in a bag rather than a pocket it doesn't seem so much of an issue.

  • I'm thinking of moving from a Blackberry to a Note. However I need to have two separate Yahoo email accounts, is this possible with an Android phone.

I did but a Samsung Galaxy and it wouldn't let you download the Yahoo email app twice. If it can't be done I will stay with Blackberry.

The Note is the only phone currently available with a high resolution screen and a memory card slot unfortunately. At least, until the Galaxy S3 launches (possibly). Anyone considering an iPhone or the newer HTCs needs to be sure that the memory the phone comes with will meet their needs for the duration of the contract. You cannot add more.
