iphone 4s or samsung galaxy note?

i currently have a nokia n8 but can upgrade this week...can i ask which of these 2 phones are better in your opinions please?
i am debating the iphone 4s or samsung galaxy note and cannot decide

The Samsung Note is no ordinary phone, infact it is massive for a phone (I know because I have one). The screen is amazing and the battery life is good aswell. It just looks a bit weird when you have the handset up against your ear when making calls. However, if you can get over that then I think you should go for it. When you have seen the screen of the Note, the screen of the iPhone just looks tiny and cramped.

It's far too big for a mobile phone imo. But that's personal preference though, you might find the size doesn't bother you.

Will be buying the Note myself as I love the big size but I think it's important to try it for yourself in a phone shop before you decide.

Try both phones out first over 2 to 3 times, everything looks good first time. I think note is too big for norma use.

Better depends on what you use it for.

What do you want to do with it is the first question you need to answer.

Second is do you want to pay something for the phone, the iPhone generally is not available free on cheap contracts

can i ask if anyone has had a nokia n8 and gone to the iphone 4s????and if so is the iphone better than the n8...i have just tried to compare the 2 and my n8 actually has better reviews which has surprised me xx

I am about to come to an end of a 2 year iPhone contract. The 3.5" screen is too small for surfing net when out and about so next phone will either be the 4.7" HTC One X or the Samsung Note. At the moment the Note is winning.

Phones 4U working models of both on display and must say am very impressed with the Note.

Which reviews were you reading? Comparing an N8 to a 4S is like comparing a Ford to a Ferrari, the 4S is better in pretty much every way.

I personally wouldn't go for the Note, everything I've read about it says it's too big to be a phone but too small to be a decent tablet, the One X is just as good without being comically oversized
