    Morning, everyone,

I haven't posted for a while as I've not done any shopping for weeks; lots of NSDs in a row! :A But I have read every post :T

Declaring for yesterday at a few pounds under budget, so am pleased with that :T

For June, I've increased my budget to £200 as I want to start building up the store cupboard for the winter. Yeah, I know, the hottest week of the year, and I'm looking ahead, but I need to start stocking up in case of bad weather later in the year, and need to spread the cost. Also, this month, I'm wanting to replenish my completely empty wine rack ;)

I still haven't emptied my freezer yet, but there is daylight showing in parts, so I hope to be stocking up the freezer next month.

Am holding off going shopping until Sunday to suit my credit card cut off, and also will be just in time to qualify for a 12p/litre off my diesel voucher at Mr Ms.

Enjoy your warm and sunny Friday's everyone. I have a day off today, and someone has stolen the sun here  They'd better put it back SOON :rotfl:

By the way can I just ask those of you have a slowcooker, what size do you have? 3.5L, 5.5L or 6.5L? I want to be able to make batches so I guess larger is better? I wont be buying one very soon but planning too. Thanks for responses!

I think I am going to set my June budget at £200. I have no idea if that's right for us, given that it's the first time I've done it, but we shall see. Stupidly, I'm a bit nervous about it all.

Morning all, i'm having a sneaky day off work today. its all planned and above board. Was going to be a NSD for me but i will pop out later for a few things. I think i will just go to lidle as it is local and i really dont want much at all. Cheese, milk & frozen fruits if they do such a thing. May also pop to farm shop. I'm going to marinate some chicken fillets in some left over yougurt later & make some muffins with the rest. I think i will also make some choc chip freezer biscuits whilst i'm about it.

Ended up working late so couldn't face SM on the way home. Determined to make something out of what we had available for quick cooking but OH turned his nose up at everything and took me to the pub instead :D

Just used the last of the white bread flour (and a wee bit of wholemeal!) to make some dough for rolls. The dough is only going to come out of the BM at 11:30 tonight so I guess they'll be proving overnight and going in the oven while I'm in the shower in the morning. Hopefully the kitchen will be cool enough that the dough won't take over the whole worktop :rotfl:

Tomorrow night's dinner already planned - learned my lesson this time! Thanks bossy Florenceem ;)
Put the rolls in the fridge to prove. They still rise over night. Out on the worktop they might just get a life of their own and collapse.

Small spend on veg at Mr S of £2.15

Leftover pasta for lunch today and Sausage and mash for dinner. Not ideal in this weather, but that's what food I have available in the freezer so that's what I will have to have.

I fancy salad and chicken but refuse to buy any when I've got tons of other things in. :D
