It must depend on who you speak to.

They could not find my details on their system (which they wont as i`m not a freesat customer) but still took my details and went ahead with the order.

if you want this deal and u have read the discussion on hotukdeals then u should know that 1.you have to say your a freesat customer! 2.dont let on you have just cancelled an account with sky! 3 get a new card sent out rather than giving them ur old sky card number,all the info is on that site if you read it ,act dumb! and hey presto 12 mths half price..
forgot to say you have!! to ring the freesat number as listed on the leaflet!

damn phoned up they asked for my name and telephone number then told me i had an account with them already
i guess it s best not to give them details
anyway round this?

my mum had sky a while back they stil have the box which allows them to get a few free channels itv2 ect but they dont pay any subcribtion..
they wanted to get sky again but not at £40 odd quid a month..

sorry to sound thick but can they qualify for this deal?

My partner has SKY in his name and is ending in June and was wondering if I would be eligable for this deal if I phoned up in my name saying I've got Sky+ and canceled my subcription ages ago?

They would send out a new card - and we would put down our old subcription with my partner to the bare minimum and still save money.

Would this work?

i gave my old card details and said that i had only cancelled in jan, so noteligible for the offer. STUPID Me - Don't give you r old card details away, tell them you don't have your old card
