As I posted on the "shop, don't drop" thread: I phoned up on 08702432018 and got straight through - said I had received a letter telling me to quote "FREE TRIAL" and new account was set up in no time, no problems. New card being sent out, then it's the full package for £21.75/mth for 12 mths. SORTED!

just been on the phone im still active in my old account and there is a problem doing it. wish i had'nt given away my old free view card now

I'm not the brightest I know but can this be used in conjunction with the broadband deal to make that package cheaper as I've just noticed that I can now get their broadband.

I cancelled Sky in January and was switched off Feb. I phoned the number and said my free trial had come to an end and wanted Sky world £21.75 for a year. Got it! New card is in the post. You are committing to another 12 month contract but at that price for all the channels its a result.
A bit of advice, if you ring and get an unhelpful person, as I did first time, hang up and phone back. Good luck.

Just rang sky, they guy said coz i wasn't a Freesat customer i am not eligable for this free trial. i pushed him hard but no luck. i did said to him that it dosnt say anything on this "letter" about freesat ro anything but no no no he wasnt prepair to listen, even checked with him team manager.

oh well never mind, better luck next time

Didn't work for me. I phoned up and was told that this was for freesat customers only. When I said I had received a flyer the lady asked if I was sure I hadn't seen it on the internet! Oops
