recieved a letter this morning from Lloyds saying that they where unable to uphold my claim
one of the reasons they gave was that i did not have any other appropriate means by which i could protect the payments of my credit account
this was despite me informing them that i would have received full sick pay for 6 months then half thereafter.

Did the policy you are complaining about cover you for unemployment?

If it did then Lloyds can say that your sick pay would only have covered you if you were off sick, but you would have had no means to pay your loan if you were unemployed.
We've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.

Apparently FOS do not normally accept this as a reason to uphold. In any case, the loss of half of your income would actually result in hardship so having the loan repayments taken care of would seem to be of value.

A lot of loan PPI policies will still pay benefit to the loan even if you have 100% sick pay. This is allowed as long as the payment goes direct to the debt and is not paid to you first (i.e. via your current account). So, the full pay/half pay scenario doesnt work too well when they would pay out.

so you haven't read the FSA's policy statement 10/12 which states "Firms are not precluded from seeking additional information from consumers"

    Shame on you

the customer has appointed and is paying for a legal representative and has specifically asked the firm not to contact them direct but to contact their appointment representative

Lets face it. You put that into your standard form so that:
    1. Your victim does not get to realise you are ripping them off
    2. Your victim does not get to tell the firm the truth
Section 3 of the Fraud Act 2006 says:

"A person is in breach of this section if he—
(a)dishonestly fails to disclose to another person information which he is under a legal duty to disclose, and
(b)intends, by failing to disclose the information—
(i)to make a gain for himself or another, or
(ii)to cause loss to another or to expose another to a risk of loss."

What do you intend to do if one of your victims gets arrested because you have committed fraud in their name?

im talking about clients with policys
we're seeing more and more rejection letters from lloyds, keep posting them folks so we can all be aware that the banks are rejecting more claims than ever and its not simple and easy to diy a claim against these boys, they want you to go direct on your own no representation, i wonder why, these are the guys who ripped you off in the first place, and now calling people who are unsure if they have ppi fraudsters, watch who you trust, a leopard doesnt change its spots, these banks certainly have changed and no sign of them doing so, still taking the p1ss at every opportunity, costs for representation could be cut by 33% if the banks wanted this, they have no interest , in anyone , including their customers only got their own interests at heart always, watch out folks!

and any more peeps received phone calls, please share info always, remember if we get this info out and ignore the trolls who try to block the truth coming out, the truth will come out again and will be seen to be as bad as the mis-selling the banks did in the first place,
