Quick question for those who've had mortgage offers lately; how long did it take for Nationwide to post your formal offer to you after notifying you?

My broker had an electronic copy straight away but the postal copy took about a week and a half to arrive.

After what seems like forever we got the keys to our flat last Friday. Would I use Nationwide again ? Possibly but I would certainly send them more documentation than they requested and let them sift through it.

I was very impressed with the solicitor they provided and would use them again if I buy anothe rproperty.

The first I knew was the offer dropping on the mat today. Did not get a call or email or anything

My broker applied around 3pm yesterday (21/3/13) and expected to hear by close of business today

Needless to say with my luck thats not happened and I now need to wait until next week to see if it passes or not.

The nationwide website says you will have a decision within 30 mins of applying so I take it mines has not went well :(
