Morning PLMBL
Yet again you amaze me with how much you cope with on a day to day basis without flinching.
If I was living with someone who was suffering like your Dh is, I would be a total nervous wreck and be on the edge of a permanent panic attack.
But you just seem to take it all in your stride, All I can say is :T:T.
Compared to my diary, I sound like a complete whiner
I just think you are amazing.:)
Have a lovely family Sunday xx0 -
Aw thank you Steph, what a lovely thing to say :A.
You don't sound like a whiner though!!
Hope you have a lovely Sunday too XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi Lucky, how is DH today? It must be so hard for you to see him like this. 10 years ago my DS and DH both were involved in motorbike accidents within days of each other. DS just bounced up off the road but the bike was a write off, but DH was quite badly injured (not a head injury thank God), it was the most frightening period of my life to know that the two blokes I loved most in the world were so nearly lost to me - the silly boogers both bought new bikes after a few years but now that DS is married with a family he has no further use for one and DH just has a classic scooter which spends more time in bits than on the road lol.
Just spent and exhausting but exquisite weekend with DGD. My sister came over this morning and watching her play with DGD reminded me of how she played with DS and the years just rolled away. Whilst I have three children, we are a blended family so I didn't meet DD1 and 2 until they were 5 and 7, so having a little girl is all new to me and so wonderful. We have a biscuit tin which is a round tin which contained Hero sweets. I keep it on a low shelf in the kitchen and DGD picks it up and brings it to me and says 'Bis' when she wants one. Today she brought it into the lounge, put it on the floor and stood on it and slowly turned round and round on it - she looked like a little ballerina in a jewelry box. I just sat and gazed at her in awe - we were totally lost in the moment. I will remember that forever.
Take care
Dot

Aah Dot your DGD sounds so cute! Lovely that you have made such a beautiful memory
.
I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced bike accidents as a loved one too. It must be a relief that neither of them ride in that way anymore. My DH had a bike accident previous to this one which was the same as your DS in that DH was fine but the bike was a write off. This time the bike was fine but DH was the write off.
Talking of DH he is back to 'normal' today :j:j. We met my Mum, Grandma and Auntie for lunch today which was nice as always and made even better for the fact that Mum and Grandma paid for ours. We then took the boys to softplay and spent a couple of hours (& £17.10 ) in there which was fab.
Tonight I made a roast turkey dinner for the boys and I had a syn free mushroom risotto with the same veg they were having. I've had another good diet week so really hoping for another good loss on Tuesday.

Really thought we were going to have our first trip to A&E of 2013 last night! DS2 woke up crying and making the most awful wheezy noise. He was coughing and his whole body was rattling and he absolutely refused to have a drink for the longest time. When he spoke he sounded like his tongue was swollen too and his glands were up on one side of his neck.
He went back to sleep though and this morning he just seems loaded with cold, but I think I will probably get him checked out at the doctors anyway. I can't ring them until 8.30am so I will see how he goes until then.
I can't believe it will be February by the end of this week . Where did January go??!! At least it will soon be time for another debt count. How sad am I? I'm looking forward to it :rotfl:Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Morning PLMBL,
Aaaw your poor little boy. Hope he is ok. MY Dd had the flu just before Christmas and she cried alot in the night because she had trouble breathing with all the congestion etc. Quite frightening for them (and us).
Give him lots of cuddles in front of the telly today. I have fond memories of sick days with my mum. I was always allowed my duvet in the lounge, and we used to drink hot chocolate and watch old black & white movies. Those were the days ....:D
You are good, waiting till the end of the month to do a debt count. I am so impatient, I do a daily debt count. haha
Hope you get on ok at the Drs.

What is it with guys and bikes?! OH had an accident Oct 2011 and wrecked his shoulder. Is constantly in pain and is supposed to take it easy. But does he?! Noooooo! He's big into his weight training, so instead of taking it easy like he's sposed to, he keeps trying to up the weight to higher than it even was before the accident :mad::o
Love this line btw...please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »Remember, little pickers wear bigger knickers :rotfl:

How's DS2 doing now?Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Thanks everyone! I feel a bit of a fraud after my earlier post as DS2 is absolutely fine apart from a runny nose! He's running around as normal, playing with toys and eating me out of house and home. I swear if I hadn't seen him through the night with my own eyes I'd think someone was lying about how ill he was! Will keep an eye on him though.
Steph, sick days are usually like that for us too
HAW, are you sure we aren't with the same bloke :rotfl: XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
