Been a NSD so far and can't see anything changing that, so I will have made my 5 target for the month which is a big thing for me! Will try to have at least one more before January is done.

Only been as far as school/playgroup drop off and pick up again. DH not doing very well today and has been in bed for the last couple of hours. Before that he was on the sofa from when he woke up this morning with a headache and a funny 'waves of sickness/panic' feeling. This is what happened the last time he had a seizure so I've just done my best to keep him calm, made sure he's had all the pills he can have and got him to eat a little something. Fingers crossed he will feel better when he wakes up.

We received £25 cold weather payment today which is not to be sniffed at . Still thick snow here with yet more coming apparently. I got all excited on the walk to playgroup earlier as a gritter came down the entrance to our estate but he just turned round and went back out again

Fantastic news about the weight loss, Lucky, well done you. 2lbs a week should be doable so you go girl! Sorry that DS1 has not been so good, and I so hope that DH is feeling better now. Yes, thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed my cuddle with DGS, although his big sister was at her other granny's so I didn't get to see her. That's the only problem when all the grandparents work full time (and they have 3 sets due to divorce) so it's a bit of a bun fight at weekends. I have arranged to have her this Saturday though so she shall be duly showered in kisses, hugged to within an inch of her life then we shall find some fun things to do. Good luck with the CA, however, as you say, you shouldn't need it, it should be a given, but I will keep my fingers crossed for you anyway. Since I have 'met' you, Lucky, every time I see my grandchildren I wonder (hope) that I will be around for long enough to have the sort of relationship you have with your Granny, I so hope I do.

Do not, whatever you do buy the 30 day shred DVD. Innocent looking it may be, but it is a torture device. Although I may brave it again as anything that makes my mummy tummy ache has to be good right?!?!

Hi Lilt! Know what you mean about the torture device thing! DH and I have been in the gym yesterday and today. And we pay for this torture???? :rotfl:. Seriously though, we will think it's all worth it when we are Yummy Mummies!

Well it's trying to snow AGAIN here . The thick snow we still have has turned to a lovely ice rink in the wonderful -7 temperatures we had last night. It made the drive home from work a little interesting. Apparently we can expect another 8cm or so this afternoon but then hopefully that will be that, and we then get torrential rain. That's when we are on flood alert. Oh the joys.

Had to spend another £16 in BplusQ today - the shower switch has burnt through the plastic case :eek:. The guy there said it was quite normal as you have to retighten the wires after 3 months. Why don't they tell you that then??? :mad:.

Not much planned for the rest of the day. DS1 has karate at 6pm but we will only be going if it hasn't snowed heavily or isn't snowing then. Going to have the leftovers of last night's ratatouille pasta bake for lunch then do some jobs round the house I think.

One of DS2's little friends has got Chicken Pox and another one has got Scarlet Fever :eek:. What's the betting with our luck my wee man gets them both?!

DS1 has come home from school loaded with cold Everyone is just so sick at the minute. More so than usual!! I wish all these illness would bog off.

Hope your Ds does'nt get chicken pox, aarggh trying to get them not to scratch is a pain. I put my 4 year old to bed in mittens so she would'nt scratch in the night .

How is DH now? Hope the sick / panicky feeling has gone. Thats sounds horrible. I do hope its not another seizure or anything. Bless him, he really has been through the mill has'nt he.

My Ds has been home today with sickness & a runny bum. I was up all night rubbing his back. Hoping for a complete hours sleep tonight hopefully .

At least its FRIDAY :T. Hope you have got a nice quiet family weekend ahead, so everyone can chill out and re-charge.

Hope everything is improving and not too much snow. Yay to the payment though..that's good! Am really sorry to hear your OH is feeling fragile too..must be a constant source of stress. And kids feeling icky as well :-( Feel for you all.
